I think that all depends on how far back in SEC Rant history you want to go. I highly doubt the Piggies are single handedly to blame for starting the fire.
I don't know how many Grumpy Cat lives you've had here but I'm going to bet you don't go back anywhere near far enough to know just what the genesis of the flame fest was.
I've been posting on college football groups since 1997. Flaming and trolling are as old as the Interwebz. But you'd be hard pressed to find a more fairly moderated site than this one. The admins here give us just enough rope and don't crack down nearly as hard as a lot of the oppressively overmanaged homerific sites do.

and this is why this place is awesome. It's natural for fans to talk trash, brag, poke fun, and give each other shite. It's part of locker rooms everywhere. It's ingrained in being a guy, and an outlet for exercising 2nd amendment rights. The internet just makes the trash talk quicker, faster, and anonymous so some of the things you wouldn't say to rival grad that lives 4 houses down, you'll say over and over and over again on here.
I think it's pretty fair here until a LSU player screws up in a major way (see TM7).
