I took a deeper look. His OCs are uh.., questionable and probably a reason the HC was fired.

The OC isn’t the problem if you have guys running wide open and can’t hit them consistently.

How I see it also. Even if he was given some big NIL deal to come here if that O line isn't addressed in the portal it might work against him.

Well I guess he will get his chance to show if a new team and different system will change things. I found a clip showing every play in their Nebraska game and that team really plays in a box and was 3 yards and a cloud of dust no matter how many defenders were in the box. On the few passes that went any distance he threw a bad interception and had a couple of decent ones. It reminded me of the Muschamp offenses here. I hope he can make us a competitive 8-4 type team but I am not counting on it especially if we don't get a couple of good O linemen in the portal.

I say if we are going to take our lumps in 2023 we take them with Rasheda at QB and just go from there play all the young guys and look to 2024 as the breakout year

I doubt the Staff will throw a FR QB out there to get killed behind the new OL until they gel later in the season.

Looks like McCall is staying at Coastal.
