This program is in deep shite! We need McCall or Pratt, a proven winner.

Yep this and the spring game shows he doesn't have touch and will be turnover prone. Napier better get a good proven one or we will be in big trouble next season.

No run game, OL got owned n you expect a FR QB n his first start with this mash unit to put up 300??

The same defense held the Heisman winner under 200 yards passing.

I didn't say anything bad about Miller, he had no chance. I do think we definitely need a better option at QB, than Miller next season.

The O line didn't show up at all. Yet, Sunbelt special kept running the ball up the middle. He never adjusted to Oregon State blitzing every 3rd and 4th down. I guess he's never heard of a screen pass?

Not to mention 11 or 12 mostly dead ball, undisciplined penalties.

Special teams were pretty awful, again. All around embarrassing performance. But, you can continue on making excuses.

I have seen enough the spring game and this game to see Miller doesn't have it. His only chance is to be on a team with more talent than most all of their opponents. We go 6-6 again with a QB as limited as him.

What about the O line play?
The dozen or so penalties?
The lack of imagination in the play calling, or the complete lack of adjustments made?
The terrible special teams? We blocked our own punt. Embarrassing performance all around .

OL was shite tonight. Period.
Everytime we had a good drive going they shite on it.

We all said to win this game we had to run the ball to take pressure off the FR QB. That didn’t happen and the game was put on his shoulders vs a tough Beaver team.

All n all I don’t think he did bad. First pass was bad choice and the overthrow to Douglas on the Sail route. Other than that he did as good as you could expect with our limited weapons and ppl in his face.
Yes, special teams blows.

Hard to complain about playcalling with first game QB starting n your duo of backs getting stuffed due to lackluster OL play.

There iscalot more wrong then just QB & Special teams which is about as far from special as special can be.

Napier needs to put the utmost priority on QB and both lines of scrimmage in the portal. Also needs to take a long hard look at DC and A Special teams coordinator.

This was even worse then I thought it would be I knew it was not going to be good but this far exceeded even what I thought was going to happen.

We will see what next year will bring but for sure this team some leaders and some toughness!!!

Billy really needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and figure out what his offensive identity is going to be because there was none this year.

No depth on defense, they held up long as can be expected.
The usual weaknesses are the usual weaknesses. Safeties primarily

Same players missing on defense play special teams, so..

Need a good close on recruiting. Let’s roll next yr.

Here is a scary thought, I was more confident after year one in Muschamp, McElwain and Mullen than I am in Napier.

This was essentially a throwaway year. Best case scenario was 8-9 wins with the culture and roster.

He’s not flashy that’s for sure. But he’s building it on the right foundation, which is through recruiting, portal and player development.

Next year I expect a transitional year where we’re better, lose some very close, hard fought games and fly under the radar.

I’m patient. 2024 is the critical year.

Napier has more of a rebuild then I think we all thought.

I think we saw the best and worst of Florida Football this year the obviously the Utah Game. The worst probably Vandy!!!

The bowl game I'm not that worried about with everyone we had opting out or transferring. I was hoping for a better performance but out of this team the OL was terrible yesterday I don't think Miller is the QB of the near future here. Napier can over haul tjis team and have a good year next year see LSU. But obviously we have finish strong in recruiting and get the Players we need in the Portal mainly hopefully McCall will visit us.

Muschamp followed Urban, had a solid roster
Mac followed Champ who left him a top Defense
Mullen followed Mac who left him most of that great offense we had.

Notice none of Mullens guys are going to top programs. Even ones who left last season didn’t do much at their new school this yr.
This team isn’t good as ppl try n say it is.

Our best WR, Ricky. By a lot
Our best RBs, both Billy’s guys.
Best OL, Torrence.. By a mile.

No dominant Defender at all.

I can’t give Miller an honest assessment given the circumstances of yesterdays game. Kid had no run game, mid protection and a few drops. Still hit 59% with over an 8 yard avg. that’s with the balls he threw away and if we take away sack yardage he was our leading rusher. That’s how bad the OL was
I think he could be a sold QB

I think I can - well imo at least (lol). If Miller is facing a decent defense he will not make throws with good touch and he will force the ball resulting in turnovers. Did the same mess in the spring game also. I think we saw why Kitna was moved in front of him later in the season.

If we are going to be limited at QB and are going to be a 6-6 or 7-5 team next season we can do that with a freshman giving him experience. The best thing would be for Napier to get a proven QB for one season as a bridge though.

OSU is a good defense, no turnovers with guys in his face most of the game and no run game to help out shows the kid has a head on his shoulders.

OSU Held the Heisman winner to 44% Comp and 188 yards. 5 yards per average.
Miller did better with less so how anyone can say what he can be or won’t be on a one game sample size is crazy to me.

Could’ve been a lot worse, we’ve seen AR melt in games when he was pressured

He lucked out and could have easily had 2 picks with his recklessness besides having crappy touch with many passes. He just doesn't have it to be a good QB in the SEC. If Napier is crazy enough to stick with Miller and not bring one in I hope Rashada is given the reigns as a true freshman.

Sacked 4 times, 7 passes attempted with guys in his face. OSU had ELEVEN tackles for loss in one of the worst OL performances of the season. 6 false starts, 2 bad snaps.
Miller 53 yards on 9 runs. Before sacked/bad snap yardage lost.

1st pass- bad/near pick
2nd- Dropped by Douglas
3rd- over Henderson outside
4th- 10yards to Ricky down the seam
5th- ETN 9 yards
6th- Ricky 19yds off playaction
7th- Odom 8 yards
8th- Bowman 16 on rollout
9th- Ricky for 8yds
10th- pass broke up to Henderson
11th- out of bounds
12th- over Douglas
13th- out of bounds
14th- Douglas for 14
15th- Trell for -7
16th- Ricky for 28yards
17th- Odom for 17yds
18th- Henderson for 9yds
19th- out of bounds- scramble no one open
20th- out of bounds- avoiding sack
21st- Douglas for 17yds
22nd- Bowman for 38yds

13/22 59% 8.2 td per avg / take away throw aways n keep percentage of throws at targets 13/18 72% with a 10 yard per avg.
1 near pick
1 drop
1 PBU
2 overthrows.
Again, not bad for a FR QB under pressure with zero run game vs top 14 ranked opponent.

If you don’t like the kid that’s your opinion but to say after his first game the kid sucks and can’t improve is a bit of a stretch
