Probably end up 10-2.

Mullen literally coached the worst game in 2 years as a UF coach, and it cost us a trip to Atlanta and while unlikely, a playin game to the CFB playoff.

Watching UGA against Auburn today was absolutely infuriating.

It is what it is. I think everyone, though, will be happy once we have a stable of Mullen Quarterbacks.

Losing Jalon Jones really hurt a lot more than people want to admit and it probably means that Trask will have to start in 2020 unless we somehow get a dual-threat transfer who doesn't mind being on the bench for a while.

We got this, though, we are going in the right direction. Just lack a few pieces here and there.

Consider it: We ended the LSU game on the goal line and had an INT on a missed DPI. Lost to UGA by one possession and were [ ] that close from getting it with a few minutes left on the clock.

Gone are the days of us losing blowouts, here are the days where we feel like we have a chance in every single game that we play.

Gone are the days of getting blown out by Vandy and South Carolina.

We are an Oline away from competing for the title. We're getting close. Next year will be a step back for the offense, but I think in two years we should be in the playoff.

shite, even being worried.

I wasn't ever worried about SCAR, Vandy, Missouri.

Next year I'm even less worried if Trask is starting.

I predicted 11-1 also and was wrong about UGA. Folks need to stop the whining about the coaches. We still have one more game and with a bowl game...finish 11-2.

The biggest problem we had all year was the OL, it was a lot worse than I thought it would be. Yesterday we played several frosh on the line....and I think we see a few new faces in 2020. # 61 Heggie played like toad slime....almost like he just landed from Pluto and was placed on a football field. Several players just were lazy and watched our QB, RB, WR fly runners being chased down. They are getting free education, board and use the training table to feed their faces. You cant do much now...Hevesy knows he has sewer rats he is trying to mold into Cheshire cats. We now have a lot of frosh who have been practicing weekly and gaining strength and knowledge about college football # 101. The future is bright, we will sign 3 or 4 more OL for the class of 2020.

The defense will again be the backbone next year. I think it will be much better overall. We will still be hard for opponents to run on and team speed will be lethal. Lets temper everything...enjoy a good bowl game and look forward to the LOI day and spring game.

Winning 10 games with this OL is quite an accomplishment. I hope to see many new faces starting next year.

I’ll take a 11-2 season and finishing top 6 (again). Now just need the recruiting classes to get better and not lose so many dudes in the offseason. Good times ahead. Kirby sucks with all of that talent he gets and players will start realizing that.

Plus Saban is getting closer to retiring and LSU and Georgia will suck next year with new QBs and RBs. Next year could certainly be our year.

UGA will have Fromm returning and they will still have the advantage in the trenches.

I predicted 9-3. Missouri ended up being not as good as I thought and auburn who is looking like a 4 or 5 loss team is probably ufs best win. They still can’t win the game to get them into championship contention.

So they are about what I thought they were.

What is infuriating is that Mullen was 1. Ever starting Frank’s over trask 2. Wasted what could have been a magical season with an absolute clunker in Jacksonville.

Still. Hard to complain about back to back 10 win seasons and increased national respect but he needs to beat Georgia.

While they were playing for the NC we were winning 4 games. You're not gonna just change Coaches and beat them within 2 seasons.

Mullen won 10 games with a team most coaches would have won 7-8 games with.

Did he make weird calls in our two losses? Yep.

But we are 10-2 because of Mullen, not inspite of Mullen.

We just need him to finally recruit well.

Gotta beat UGA next year. It's awesome that we're a consistent, stable program after Muschamp and McElwain but we're going to get restless if we keep losing to UGA.

Ehhhhh.

We have awesome vet pass catchers this season and I think we're significantly more talented than 9 of the 12 teams on our schedule. Auburn was the only coin flip we won considering Missouri has been a huge disappointment.

It's nice to win the ones we should but to posit this season as some overachievement is a stretch.

2 star QB
3 star filled Oline
no run game
poor secondary
depth issues on defense at every level

10-2 with a top 20 SOS.

That's pretty strong for what this team actually is. We have elite WR's and an elite TE..but I doubt many coaches go 10-2 with this roster.

What games does a league-average coach lose with this roster against this schedule that we actually won? Maybe Auburn?

It's easy to frame our roster as being insufficient in certain areas but the reality is that it's a significantly better roster than every team on our schedule besides the two we lost to and Auburn (who is starting a true freshman at QB).

This isn't criticizing Mullen. It's just that claiming that we've overachieved this season is... strange

Well without above average coach I say we still lose to Kentucky and Miami.

Without franks being injured uf probably loses to uk with Mullen as head coach

Ponder that one.

How many games does uf win this year without that happening?
