Without franks being injured uf probably loses to uk with Mullen as head coach

Ponder that one.

How many games does uf win this year without that happening?

It would be the second coach who went down with the Franks ship, if you ask me.

We for sure don't beat Kentucky, Auburn is a no brainer with this line and the need to pass, LSU is a massacre, Georgia is worse.

No way is Mullen our coach in the coming years with Franks at QB this year. I can almost guarantee that recruiting tanks way worse. Trask literally saved us about 5 years of shite sandwiches.

poor secondary

What happened with the secondary this year? I thought it was going to be a strength for the Gators. I know Dean was playing out of position but I thought the other two corners were legit? Injuries?

IMO?

Too much soft coverage. Not enough physical press coverage.

That and the safeties really underperformed expectations. Losing John Huggins to discipline issues was a real kick to the nuts.

Safeties the rotation made no sense. Shawn Davis should have been on the field every play. Secondary Marco was better suited at Nickel and Dean on the outside. Kind of just a cluster frick of shite. Add in like Straws said we played soft coverage way to often. Even vs Georgia KNOWING pressing receivers gave you issues....soft zone, especially on third down. I mean Fromm had 5-7 seconds and a soft zone on most third downs...which made it almost easy to convert most of them.

I really wouldn't mind playing single safety high for the rest of the year and just get Elam on the field, quite honestly.

I don't know how many times opposing teams have just completely exploited the safety position in coverage. They can fricking hit, but they're dogshit in coverage.

Really, I'd just have, at any time on the field:

Dean
Wilson
Henderson
Elam
Safety #1. Don't even care.

No passrush in games vs talented OLs and good QBs. Z and 58 were banged up vs LSU and UGA. We blitzed and stunted our guys and didn't get a whiff. Coverage doesn't matter when its 7 on 7

I mean I get you play Georgia to stop the run and zone stops the run better...yes I know this...but if it's third down and long like most Georgia downs were it made no sense. If they want to beat us on the ground on third and 12 please let them...Jesus
