Just remember, here is our track record with coaches since 1984.
Fired Charlie Pell for NCAA violations, pressure to win.
Fired Galen Hall for a minor violation to get Spurrier athough he was leading a program that was recovering from major scholarship reductions
Ran Spurrier off after a successful career at UF, most successful coach in school history and 11-1 just wasn't good enough to some fans any more.
Fired Zook, followed Spurrier, nobody would have survived following SOS with this fan base.
Ran Urban Meyer off due to pressure to win causing medical problems, and I don't like him at all!
Fired Muschamp due to number of wins, supported that call but still supports my point
Wanting to fire McElwain after only 2.5 seasons and we know what shape the program was in when he took over.

Why would any successful coach want to go to a program with this history of negative outcomes with coaches?

If you want to know what is wrong with this program, some of you need to look in the mirror!

Meyer's problems were caused by expectations he put on himself. That was going to happen at any big job he took because he didn't know how to handle it at the time. He's spoken about this at length.

The fact is great coaches want to win at the highest level and are confident in their ability to succeed. They understand the expectations at the elite jobs and won't balk at an opportunity presented to them.
