Hard to say. They jumped the gun making A&M @ LSU the night game.

Impressive road win. Game wasn’t near as close as the score indicated. Offense was very good. Defense was mid, mainly due to going into prevent the entire 4Q.

Overall, I’ll take the W.

I’m glad some of the players who were on the team last year were able to get revenge on Gaylish and Brown while not being coached by a staff of total retards

Watched a bit of the defense again this morning…

Staff actually had a really decent plan to defend Auburn. Would’ve liked to see a bit more blitzes - but I think even the staff was focused on containing Browns legs.

They largely did an excellent job until the final 5-6 minutes.

Defense needs a ton of work still but doesn’t seem as hopeless as the 2020 one did.

But the concerning thing from yesterday was how many bad throws brown had prevented us from really getting torched.

Man did Golesh screw his defense last night with his no huddle quick snap offense. That was atrocious.

True. If anything this coaching staff just proved to them that it's time to empty those pockets if you want to compete against the elite teams in the country. Miami is about to land a monster class in december.

The team is great but we're one year away from having significant depth. Gotta trim the fat off this team and bring in guys who have the talent to play in this conference.

Curious to see how the Auburn defense does the rest of the season and if their fast style offense causes issues. Things worked out good for us because early in the 2nd half we got to a point where we had ran 20+ more plays than them.

I think we have enough talent to compete this season though I want to see this defense against Ole Miss and see what happens. I think our budget will stay around that bottom top 10 area.

If Golesh doesn't adjust, their defense is going to end up beaten up and injured at the end of the season. This is the SEC. You play complimentary football. Not this G6 shite.

I mean by the end of the 1st, our offense was on the field for 12 min. That's insane. At the start of the 2nd half, we had the ball for 22 min. At that point their defense was doomed. I was like well here comes Baugh to win this game for us. Offensive masterclass by Faulkner. Great gameplan.

This works out great for us in recruiting. Auburn has a lot of guys on the team and recruits that should look at us for next year. Time to poach.

Yes agreed that we have talent to compete this season. But no way do I want to see this defense against Chambliss and Lacy. Hope the Swamp is hostile and loud like it was at Oxford last night. Those fans were crazy. Notice how they don't rub their fingers on 3rd down and rather yell.

Nah if the NIL budget remains where it is, you're asking for Sumrall to get fired. We can't let that happen. Invest early when there's momentum. Then you can hold back if he gives you a reason to hold back. I don't see why anyone would right now.

Well they went really big in basketball to try to get another Championship so some of that could assist in 2027. I doubt we ever truly match those 5 or so teams in the SEC that pay the most NIL. We don't have the crazy rich motivated boosters to do that anymore I think. Most of our billionaire alumni are the tech nerd types not into football that much.

That's fine. I know Hathcock has shifted towards basketball only and doesn't give a frick about football because Condron is a fricking nazi when it comes to it.

It's going to be a collective effort rather than just a few people. This is where the stadium renovations help. We can double the revenue and start locking up the folks who can afford the box seats that will surround the entire stadium.

Asking fans to donate is not the way. There are plenty of alums that want to feel involved in the program. Just gonna have to get creative with it.

We've done the things that other programs are doing in terms of NIL. But it's about to get expensive to attend UF and attend these home games in the future because of it.

Yeah they did really well on the pass blocking. Surprised Durkin didn't do more to pressure Philo early on. He let him get a rhythm and it was over with after that.

It was going to be a struggle running early on but Golesh fricked his defense over for being on the field so much. By the 3rd, they were done and our run game was ready to capitalize on it.

Yep I think we will be at that level of NIL where you can compete as long as you have a good coach. Napier would have folded for sure in that road game last night. I saw where we never even started 2-0 under Napier in his 4 years here.

D line didn't play that good in the first half. Once we got the lead in the 3rd, Auburn had to be one dimensional which allowed our pass rush to get coverage sacks. That 4th quarter was bad on both sides. You can play prevent defense. But the offense has to sustain drives and run the clock out. Bad way to finish the game.

Heisman is such a QB award nowadays. The only way Baugh is even a finalist is if he runs for 2k. Don't think that's going to happen with teams realizing how elite he is. Expect teams to play more aggressive on the line to stop it. Faulkner capitalized on it and got Wilson and VB3 going.

Gameday will not be at the Swamp this season. We FAFO way too much these past 4 years. Gonna have to earn it this season for it to happen next season. They're going to Knoxville. That Manning media storyline is too juicy for them.

Yeah they definitely did. Texas vs Tenn at noon is a slap to the face to the fans in Knoxville. Hate the media for creating this drama story. At this point, the football takes a backseat and it sucks to acknowledge that at times.

SEC Nation might come to the Swamp and they're a lot better than Mcafee and his nonsense.
