Sure, but I'm not really sure what Auburn has shown to this point on defense to make one think that their pass rush will be able to completely dominate our O-Line.

Vegas has Baugh's rushing O/U at like 108.5, fwiw. He's the best RB we've had since Fred, and we have two NFL talents at WR to take the pressure off and a few other solid WR role players like Stockton and Abrams as a field stretcher.

Philo could collapse under the pressure; it's possible. I think it's more likely that we're fine and that our offense is able to move the ball pretty consistently. The D is a much bigger concern, but I'm not convinced that Auburn's O is any good.

Go look at 27/28 draft boards. Everyone thinks Baugh, VBIII, and Wilson are studs. Has very little to do with FAU and Campbell, although they did look the part against those teams as well.

Of course, Philo is a question mark, but I trust Faulkner.

Oh, also, AU isn't that good, and we solidly have the more talented team. Yea, JHS is a tough place to play, and maybe Golesh is good, but I think there is a solid talent gap between this UF roster and this AU roster, and that has little to do with FAU and Campbell.

We very well could lose if we can't contain Brown's rushing ability and Philo turns the ball over a few times, but I'm not sure what the point of overselling AU or underselling our talent level is besides "I don't want to be hurt again."

Auburn has not looked that good. But I have come to expect failure from Gator Football and will be pleasantly surprised if we pull out a win tonight.

I'm not doubting the draft prospects. The talent gap argument was used last year against USF and look what happened.

We'll see who plays QB better tonight.

Billy Napier happened.

I think Buster Faulkner is good. If he can't make the offense work against this AU defense with the weapons this offense has, my faith in Faulkner will take a bit of a hit.

Plenty of faith in Faulkner. No confidence in our inexperienced QB.

Faulkner liked Philo enough to bring him over from GT. And Philo doesn't need to do anything crazy to beat Auburn. I'm not saying we're going 10-2 or anything like that; Auburn is one of the worst teams on our SEC schedule.

We'll see. I don't think there's any reason for pessimism about the offense right now, but I understand that fans manage their expectations in different ways.

I bet if we had a chance at Leavitt, Hoover, Mensah, this would be a different conversation about "bringing his guy". We always strike out when it comes to NIL and getting a big time transfer QB. We ended up with another system guy. I would think Vandy or Kentucky are more easier opponents to deal with.

Well there's no reason to be optimistic until we win this game first.

QB play will be big. My guess is Auburn is going to focus on keeping Baugh from getting going. Auburn sucked last year like us but if I remember right the one thing they were good at the games I saw was limiting the running game of most other teams.

That Auburn front 7 is not a joke. Big test for our OL to protect tonight.

Yep just looked at it. They only gave up one 100 yard plus game to a RB last season. A&Ms Moss. The only other player to get 100+ rushing on Auburn was the QB Pavia on Vanderbilt.

Good win. I like the offense. Maybe they did get Ugorji playing pretty good in camp.

OL was solid and I was actually impressed with D line too. Think defense got lazy in the 4th but love this team so far

Baugh will be a heisman finalist

Game day next week if ole miss wins tonight??
