Let me say that I don't think Tanner will do it. But at this point, I may not be stunned to see Martin resign at the end of the year.
Regardless, if there were a vacancy, we need to take a hard look at Bob Richey at Furman. Born and raised in SC, knows the recruiting footprint, and has the Paladins as the team to beat in the SoCon. Someone is going to snatch him up soon. He's Gregg Marshall 10 years ago.

Only an idiot would have said we were going dancing with this team. Franks senior, junior and sophomore classes are bust and his " great" freshman class is nothing but decent role players. Watch the games Frank has checked out. 1 out of 7 years for post season play. We would run a football coach out of town with that record so why is frank here. His coaching style doesn't sell tickets or bring in good recruits. Basketball is about the offense now and no kid wants to play for a old school wash up. Time to burn this baby to the ground and rebuild.

I actually liked what I saw tonight with our athleticism. This team has potential. We just gotta find some shooters.

This team has no potential. Piss poor recruiting combined with a " i dont care" attitude from our coach is why we are one of the worst teams in the nation. Time for frank to go.

It is kinda weird though, UVA has a very similar approach, Wisconsin too (defense first) and they have been very successful programs.
UVA and Wisconsin have been very successful in much better conferences.
And neither have been recruiting AMAZING talent either.
I mean Frank Kaminsky was a Project, Dekker was okay, and Malcolm Brogdon came outta no where
Maybe Frank really isn't that good of a defensive coach either?

Michigan is going to Win the National Title this year.
I think Duke is far and away the most talented team and it's not close. But I think once March comes around those 3's draft stock will be so locked they may lose interest.
Gonzaga has talent but outside of their Final Four year they lost to us (and honestly got lucky they played us and not a much more talented program) they always choke.
Kansas-Bill Self is overrated IMO. Top Talent and hasn't won since Derek Rose basically gifted them a title.
UVA- has a possibility.
Michigan has built an amazing team with great coaching and I think finally after the countless Final Four and Title game trips they'll finally get over the hump and win it.
Tenn and Auburn i think are a year ahead and will be there soon. well until Pearl gets busted for something else.
and UK is there with DUke.

We are getting recruits that have no other p5 offers. Getting a recruit because you're his biggest offer is not good. We got a recruit for next year because his coach is a friend of franks and got him to take him. Maybe frank owed him a favor, who knows, but it is explains why we have no talent.

I agree.
I'm also just saying that sometimes the Defensive approach does work.
I just don't think he's even good at that anymore.
But now days look at the last couple national title winners, they were able to shoot lights out.

Has anyone heard about Frank having health issues? I’m not trying to make an excuse, but I have a good friend with some b-ball connections who mentioned it. He talks to Carey Rich on a weekly basis, so probably got that info from him.
