The NCAA tourney is such a crap shoot. I really don’t ever think the final four teams in the tournament are the 4 best teams in the nation

Personally i think Frank is better offat a small private school in the Big East.
Issue is, i don’t think there are any openings at this point

Our poor lack of recruiting is showing big time. Everyone wonders why the older guys aren't playing better when the fact is they already reached their athletic ceiling.

I told you how sorry this team is. Frank cannot recruit...period. His final four run was nothing more than a fluke.

I think we need a guy that preaches Offense.
Especially in this day and age of the sport.
We can never shoot and the only reason we made that final four run is because we became unconscious from outside.
Check the stats, we scored 93 and shot 52 % from the field against Marquette
Score 88 vs duke and had 5 guys in double figures (thornwell notice and fielder all
Shot 50% from 3)
40 % from 3 against Baylor
And our starting 5 all in double figures and 77 vs Florida
Gonzaga beat us because they shot 47% from 3
While we struggled in the big football stadium

I read your other post and have to say I agree with you. Kids today love the stats and putting up points is what they love. Frank is a hardass coach, which was great when I grew up, but that doesn't set well with kids these days and another reason he can't recruit.

Go watch the NBA.
The days of Defense and an "inside game" winning are over.
It's getting like that with the NFL (LA, NOLA and KC the best teams)
The Golden State warriors have won the title 3 outta the last 4 years attempting 30-40 3's a game.
It's not that Kids love it, it's that now days in the NBA to be a good player you need to get buckets regardless of your role. And that's what every kid is looking at. Getting to the next level.
It's keeping a guy like Kyle Korver or JJ Reddick in the game. Not the most athletic but smart offensive players who are absolutely deadly from behind the arc.

Another great performance by our guys tonight. Only lost by 9 to a 2-6 Wyoming squad!
This is just fine. I’m pretty sure most teams that make a Final Four appearance have trouble getting to 7 wins a couple seasons later. It’s all part of the process.
Frank just needs more time to get his guys in place.

The ONLY positive is we shot 85% from the line.
That must be some kind of record (with 15+ attempts by a frank team)
But then looking at from the field and 3... that’s the frank team I know.
Can we entice Brad Underwood to come here? Or get one of his assistants?
