Lonnie is correct. Napier is interviewing this weekend. I also have it on good authority that he informed ULL yesterday that barring something unexpected, he is going to be the next Coach at South Carolina.

Napier is more likely at this current point in time IMO. And he gets last interview, not looking good for Beamer.

Its very strange. It should be very obvious to everyone that Napier is a slam dunk hire and Shane Beamer is not in his stratosphere. But to hear fans down here in Columbia you would think the opposite would be true

The past 2 weeks have made it abundantly clear, sadly, that large swaths of our fanbase are legitimately stupid.
It's fine if Beamer is their top choice, but the way so many of them have convinced themselves that Beamer is the messiah and only he who can lead our program to glory and sheer dominance is what I don't understand.
We should be happy that Tanner and Caslen are serious about Napier, a proven and successful HC, instead there have been a bunch of threads over on TBS where the Beamerites are trying to poke holes in Napier's many qualifications. It's absurd.

Just today I have seen them say Napier is boring, slow, hasn't beaten anyone, boring old alabama offense, fired by clemson and Dabo knows what he is doing. Also that he only wants money or is using us for a raise, the players would revolt if he is chosen over Beamer, even make fun of his hair. starting to see why we have never won anything ever with this line of thinking
