He was tight and nervous. Why the hell Shane didn't pull him for a series to calm him down is bullshite. You got a guy on the bench that can run as well as Sellers but has years of experience but let's just not try anything different

I missed it, but it must have been bad, apparently.

Judging by the posts here and on X, we're in for a long season.

I'll always be an eternal optimist for our Gamecocks, but I've come to realize - especially with Ray as our AD - that things are not going to get much better anytime soon.

We simply have no confidence, no swagger, whatsoever.

We're lacking leadership on every level.

We still have great fans ... but I waa told this morning that there was a lot of booing yesterday.

The booing was so bad that the ODU HC called it out. The play calling and the ol hasn't changed and frankly, imo, the booing was justified.

The bad thing is the mens basketball team had some top recruits there including both eli and Isaac Ellis among other top guys.

He’s raw but the playcalling did him no favors yesterday. My high school offense was more creative than the shite Loggains put out there.

Also, once again, our O line is absolute arse and provides no protection. With a little time in the pocket and some easy slant routes to build confidence, Sellers could be decent. But that’s not going to happen with this staff.

Ray can’t be in charge of another coaching hire. Someone in our university leadership HAS to see that things need to change and get Tanner out. We’ve been spinning our wheels with Beamer and it will be at least 3 years before we’re actually competitive again. Purge the AD and overhaul the football program completely.

Here is the issue. Tanner has done a good job of bringing money in until that dries up he isn't going anywhere

The fact that they had to call 2 timeouts to get the kneel down correct at the end of the game is shameful.

Sellers running into juju was hard to watch.

But his dropped perfect bomb and penalty was also hard to watch

Our o line was even harder to watch..

That’s why schools like Texas A&M and Tennessee actually listen to their fanbases - because they know the fans will actually boycott when they’re displeased, and it scares the hell out of them.

Our school has never had to worry about that because we’re the lovable losers that show up no matter what. If more Gamecock fans decided to voice their displeasure through their wallets we’d be done with this shite.

I totally agree. The only way to get their attention is through the wallet.

I've come to the conclusion that absolutely no one in our administration cares. The AD, Board, President etc. There is no other logical conclusion after watching the decisions that have been made over the past 10 years.

After forcing Satterfield out, we hire someone who was once called "The worst playcaller in the NFL". How no one with any authority came to Tanner and said "wait a minute" before the contract was approved for Loggains speaks volumes.

If there is one positive, I do think the fan base is changing. It may be slow but it seems like the fan base doesn't accept this shite as much as we did 20 years ago.

Unfortunately Dawn's success also hurts us in regard to Tanner. IMO.

This is just not true....The pass protection was fine. Sellers just was young, nervous, and didnt settle. The run blocking could use some work, but it was mostly the TE's and WR's that struggled in that department

as Sellers gets more comfortable this offense will get more comfortable. It wasn't like UNC last year where we were overpowered, it was things that can be cleaned up with film and experience.

He still managed to overthrow (and slightly behind) one of the easiest throws a college QB can make.

First away game start.

He looked much improved from last week. There are still concerns of course, but he's started two games. All you can do is hope he continues to improve.

Pocket awareness needs a LOT of work

I mean honestly id expect him to struggle for a few more games. Much like Rattler in his first season here, but id also expect him to close the year out on a high note. The kid has talent and confidence. It's just a new speed for him

You can see he has skills. Once he figures out how to protect the ball better he is gonna be tough as nails.
