So that leaves us with Hilinski and Urich. When did Dakereon injure his hamstring, anyway?

Just In: Gamecock QB/WR Dakereon Joyner is expected to miss Saturday’s game against Kentucky with a hamstring injury. Jay Urick, who entered the season as USC’s No. 4 QB & has played some WR, has been informed by coaches that he’ll backup Hilinski this week, per source. @wachfox

We went from thinking we had a talented, deep QB room to having 2 available QBs, one of whom is possibly too injured to play effectively himself.

Chicken.
fricking.
Curse.

Are you fricking serious? I was actually just thinking it'd be nice to see a little bit more of Dak against UK... ffs.

I'd just like to know when, exactly, did he injure his hamstring? It had to be today. Unless Muschamp Muschamped it and kept it quiet.

Somebody tell him to multiply that by 1000 and that's how pissed we are at him and Tanner.

No words.

On second thought, could this be Dak pulling a Kelly Bryant or a D'Eriq King?

I just don't think he'd do it. And I'm probably wrong. Couldn't really blame him if he did.

ETA: I'm assuming you're referring to them sitting the rest of the season and then transferring. I thought the press had followed up the initial reports about King and are now reporting that he's redshirting the rest of this season but will be returning to Houston next year.

Big difference between him and KB if that's true.

I’m getting real tired of the countless injuries we have under Muschamp

This is exactly what happened to Florida when Muschamp was their coach. I was stupid to think it would be different this time around. From now on he is no longer to be called " boom". I declare his new knickname to be " Bust".

This is pretty much UF's 2013 season. By the time they got to us they were down to Marty Morningweg's son.

So just to explore the options should the (for most normal teams not cursed like we are) unthinkable happen and Hilinski's elbow worsen, Dakereon's hamstring turns out to be far more than a strain and (God forbid) something also happens to Urich...who do we have on the team who played QB in high school? I'm sure we have a couple, I just have no us who.

Yet some of our fans still believe Jeff Dillman is a good S&C coach.

This is exactly what happened to them at UF. Players aren’t strong under Muschamp and Dillman.

Yeah. It really is insane.

There have always been coaches who had physical practices. Some of them coach now.

But no one has as many players injured as Muschamp. How is it even possible? If it's Dillman, what could he be doing?

From my understanding, he heavily mixes in intense cardio with high volume weightlfting, which might be good for endurance, but does jack shite for size and strength.

Florida fans complained of the exact thing I’ve been saying for years - our guys are small, slow, and fragile. Only freaks like Kinlaw and Edwards have a legitimate shot at the NFL. The rest of our guys will flounder at the Combine.

How are things in Aiken? Outside of about 3 weeks and a few quick trips back for a few days at a time, come the end of October I will have been gone (not just from Aiken but the entire state of SC) for a year. I get so homesick sometimes I can hardly stand it. Spent about 3 1/2 months in DC and have been in NC ever since finishing that assignment
