I know this is "off topic", but I can really relate to this comment. I moved to Atlanta for business in February of 2015, and in July I moved to Texas for graduate school. I seriously miss SC everyday. My heart is calling me home, but my ambition is taking me other places! I have to get back there soon and visit with the family.

In reference to the topic at hand, I have no idea what is going on. I have never seen so many injuries plaque an organization. It has to be the way the coaching staff is running the practices; nothing else makes sense. It's been a consistent theme for four years now.

Oh this man infuriates me. Turns out Dakereon has been "playing thru this hamstring injury for a couple of weeks now" according to Muschamp.

Yes, it is a State article I'm ashamed to say

Joyner will miss the game and hopefully recover in time during the open week to play against Georgia, Muschamp said in his weekly Carolina Calls radio show.

Joyner has actually been playing through injury for two weeks, Muschamp said Thursday. During Tuesday’s practice, however, he was limited and experienced more pain than usual. After an MRI on Tuesday night, Muschamp made the call to shut him down for the week.

quote:

“We didn’t want to further injure him and looking at the MRI, they felt like where it was pulled a little bit, we could further injure him,” Muschamp said. “We’re not going to do that. So we shut him down. Talked to the trainer and him today, he was upset, obviously, because he wants to play in the game and he’s been managing it for two weeks now. It’s just a situation where we gotta take care of him right now.”

Freshman Ryan Hilinski will start at QB, with redshirt sophomore Jay Urich backing him up. After missing several practices last week ahead of Missouri with elbow soreness, Hilinski’s health is “outstanding,” Muschamp said Thursday.

We fricked.

Yeah, something tells me he is going to be out for longer than just this week.

How are things in Aiken? Outside of about 3 weeks and a few quick trips back for a few days at a time, come the end of October I will have been gone (not just from Aiken but the entire state of SC) for a year. I get so homesick sometimes I can hardly stand it. Spent about 3 1/2 months in DC and have been in NC ever since finishing that assignment

Other than them saying they’re going to tear down the bowling alley on the Southside to build a Taco Bell nothing has really changed. Whiskey Road is the same cluster frick it always has been.
