Sure, I don’t mind. I didn’t reveal the name of who gave the info to me, but I trust him. He works in football and attends every practice, etc.

GT already hired a dl coach so I wonder if he is being looked at in another capacity.

I think GT was the backup plan anyway. Thight he was more interested in Miami and Maryland.

I still think Dillman should be the first to go.

There has been a glaringly obvious discrepancy in our size and speed vs. the competition for the past 2 years, and our team has been just as injured as Muschamp's 2013-2014 UF teams were. How more Gamecock fans aren't acknowledging this is beyond me.

Before we focus on bringing in good position coaches who can recruit, let's address the coaching position that has absolutely failed at building these kids up to NFL-ready (or even SEC-ready) levels.

It's gotta be. Everyone wise just got a raise.

Thomas Brown, old uga RB coach/player has been deemed a name to watch.

Former Georgia running back and former Miami offensive coordinator Thomas Brown is set to join the South Carolina football coaching staff soon.

quote:

Brown has coached several great running backs in his young career. In his season at Wisconsin, he coached Melvin Gordon, who led the NCAA in rushing that season with 2,587 yards. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist that year as a junior and elected to declare for the NFL Draft. He’s now a running back for the L.A. Chargers and a two-time Pro Bowl selection. In his year at Georgia, he coached Sony Michel and Nick Chubb. Michel led the team with 1,136 yards rushing and eight touchdowns. Chubb played in only six games due to injury but rushed for 747 yards and seven touchdowns.

Finally. Some good news on a day we could use it.
