So telling a different view of the story is crushing the other person? So because a certain poster, not rooster just in general, has been here longer than others the new posters should just fall in line and not question or dispute that poster huh?

Not what I was saying at all.
There have been a few threads of people in here saying their sauces are better than so and so's sauces. It appeared that is where this thread was headed, if you are offended, pray hard for me at church.

Lawing had his down years but also his up years. He brought some strong talent in here.

Strong left us in 02, was he really recruiting Dunlap that long?
That's amazing really, had no clue they recruited kids that young.

Lol. I don't get offended that easy and as far as my credibility or people liking me well lets just say I've always said what I meant and it does rub some people wrong at times. Fact is I don't give a sh*t.

I just believe you should have all the facts and not just one side of the story. Was Lawing a decent dl coach for us? Yes he was BUT he also had some horrible dl but everyone wants to forget that. Open your eyes there is a reason he left florida for fsu and a reason that jimbo didn't take him to a&m and taggert not keep him. If after looking at all the evidence and we bring him on board I will fully support him.

Don't forget he was the dl coach when we were making opposing running backs, like d. Mcfadden from Arkansas, look like all-world

I mean Darren Mcfadden was all world, probably one of the best RBs in SEC History.
And Certainly one of the if not the best of this century.
Sure he flopped in the NFL but he was 2 time Doak Award winner, 1 time Walter Camp, 2 Time First Team AA, 3 Time First Team all SEC and invited twice to NY for the Heisman ceremony, and 3rd all time in SEC history in rushing yards.

Drafted 4th overall by the raiders (probably why his NFL career sucked)

Congrats you fit in with most of the world

I just believe you should have all the facts

What facts? Everything said in this thread is complete hearsay with no proof of anything presented.

Open your eyes

You first. I get it you don't like the guy. But the last DL coach we had that actually got a push and pressured an opposing QB was him.

Could the AD do better? Of course.
But Who? If you know of someone send Muschamp a sternly worded letter or email or swing by his house for dinner one night and hash it the frick out with him.
I would actually like to see our defense get sacks and pressure a QB rather then getting gashed all game.
Thanks in advance

Bring the info you have or don't, but stop trying to crush everyone else's stories to promote your own.
** FTR this is pointed out in general not just particularly to you sos

What facts? Everything said in this thread is complete hearsay with no proof of anything presented.

So you don't want us to respond to hearsay? If their story isn't presented by facts and is hearsay then why can't it be crushed?

For the recordI never said I hated Lawing all I've said is he isn't the knight in shining armor that some would have you believe.I do think he is better than the currant and last dl coach we have/had.

I'm inclined to agree with SOS here.

Brad was a great coach here, and did some great things. On the flip side, he brings alot of baggage with him (which is fine. Most of us have some sort of baggage. I know I do).

Personally, put me in the camp of that I'm not sure the baggage is worth the upside.

Everyone is free to their own opinions, and I'll respect them.

let me reflect on your posts a second..

So which is it guy? Do you have to facts that we all should have?
or
Are you just shooting the shite?

You're bouncing both sides of the fence here.

I understand Lawing isn't the best choice and has issues or what the frick ever.
Do we mutually agree that he is an upgrade over the status quo? If so, then until we have a replacement he is an upgrade. Isn't that what programs are supposed to do? I mean continuously upgrading is a good thing. Just make sure the guy has better burner phones for his hookers than hugh freeze did, it's not rocket surgery.

Here's what I say.

1) Does he want to be here?

2) Is he an upgrade over what we currently have?

If yes to both, why not?

but.....
3) Are there better options out there that we can get?
but for 3 to be a yes, we need to go back to 1.

Does he want to be here?

I'll say this then I'll leave it alone. Yes, he is an upgrade over what we have BUT he caused friction amoung our coaching staff and rumor is he did the same on the florida and fsu staffs. So he would be an upgrade but at what cost? Is the risk worth the reward?

Valid questions and good questions to pose no doubt.
It's a problem Muschamp has to hammer out and decide on.

I think that goes back to what I'm asking.
If he's going to cause friction, he probably doesn't want to be here.

That said if Muschamp wants him I guess that really doesn't matter because he calls the shots

This. I'm in the camp for bringing him on for a year or two but be searching for a more permanent long time hire during that year or two. Usually takes about a year or two before someone decides to frick someone elses wife anyway lol.

Mr. Sinister IS Lawing!

Hes been low key keeping tabs on us since he left. Brad lawing left South Carolina at the end of the 2012 year. When did Mr. Sinister join SECrant?
