Beating them in Sanford in 1993 is still a Top 5 win for me.

My first game in Athens was a good one. Brian Scott with the late TD, and we won 14-9 in 2001.

Also enjoyed the 2007, 2010, 2011, and 2012 games.

The 2010 game. Marcus introduced himself to the world that day.

Border War Memories

Always feel like they should've named the rivalry after the Savannah River or something.

But it was always my favorite game to go to growing up. We didn't win often but it always had a big game feel and was fun to go to.

I've been to the '04, '06, '08, '10, '12 games in Columbia and the '11 and '13 games in Athens.

Probably my favorite memory there.

That or Lattimore's coming out party in 2010. I think he averaged like 170-180 total yards in his games vs UGA.

That 1993 Gamecock radio call after Bennett goes over the top still gives me chills.

Fulton: South Carolina will draw two 15-yard penalties..

Suggs: Who cares!

1988 - in Columbia. Vince's last season coaching UGA. USC's won 11 and UGA now 16 in the series since Carolina beat Dooley in his final visit to Williams-Brice.

I believe it's also the last game UGA ever wore red britches against USC.

#9 Georgia 10 #14 Carolina 23

...pretty good FR from Greenwood in this game

2000. After the game my dad, and uncle took my cousins and I to eat somewhere up Devine. As we were leaving we saw a group of people carrying a piece of the goal post. We tried to buy it from them, but no luck.

That was one of my favorite moments ever in Williams-Brice. I thought the place was going to collapse

It is a shame Todd Ellis had to be the one to call that play. He is awful.

On TBS.

Nice.

ETA: Always interesting to see the stadium back then. It looks like there is no press box on the West stands, the South upper deck hasn't been built yet, and the away fans were where some of the students sit now I believe.

I also forgot how run down those ramps used to look. Say what you want about the way Spurrier left, but the facelift his tenure gave Williams Brice was much needed and a thing of beauty.

That's the way it should be.

The students and band should be down where the current away section is, in my opinion. They should be in the thick of it.

Always loved this game.

Easily the best college town trip in the SEC.

Damn I may even say best college town in the country.
