Bottom 2nd 2-2. Gamecock error allows tiggers to tie the game.
I wish everyone would stop bitching about the neutral game being in Greenville when 2 of the next 3 years the neutral game is in Columbia. Think the tator fans aren't going to bitch about that?

Weak pitching today, and poor hitting in key situations have doomed this game. Clemson batters stepped up and drove in runs, USC didn't, even when we've had more ABs with RISP than they have. We've hit around .200 in those situations, and they've hit around .500. A lot of that also has to do with our pitchers not able to contain them, in those pressure situations....

anyone else laugh out loud B6 when Carolina loaded the bases with nobody out - the resulting pitching change for the taters lasted almost 10 minutes "because the field crew had to *fix* the mound" ...?

I would have liked for Reid Morgan to have been staked a 2-0 lead going into T2 today. the outcome may have been much better in favor of USC. now we get a tater team that's impressed with themselves at the plate coming to Columbia.

Listen, I am thrilled at beating the shite out of Clemson and finally taking a series from them again, but it's undeniable that our errors have handed all of our opponents runs they shouldn't have had - including today. It hasn't cost us too dearly yet, but that doesn't mean it should just be brushed aside until it does.

3 more errors today - although Luke had one put on him with the squibbler in front of home plate that was bs.
All I can say is thank goodness for the amazing USC grounds crew and their skills at providing a pitchers mound for all those tater arms Monte had to run out today. None of his replacements had to have the mound repaired today - stopping the game for 10 minutes - unlike the sub-par mound he tought needed fixed yesterday at Fluor
Great to see our Seniors play well and be the reason USC took the series today. They deserve it.

Great series clenching win! Gamecock Nation needed that.
However,
We have some very glaring issues to fix before sec play. Defense has always been a mainstay around here and you're correct about the errors. If we can fix the fri and sat starting pitchers and correct these mistakes we might just do something.
Again great win against clempson but lets be honest they are massively overranked.
Now im headed over to tnet as my tigger alter to help encourage the masses that Lee is not the answer and demands must be met.
However,

Lee is a good coach so I expect them to rebound but my goal is to just stir the hornets nest and create negativity within the fans.

Boy they are pissed off like a hornets nest. They are mad at Lee but they are more pissed off about their football player wearing a unc shirt, and sitting with the Clempson student section, during the tar holes vs tators bball game.
