This is the first time in the last few years that I've been excited for baseball to start. I think our new coach is the man to get us back to the mountain top. Again its going to take a few series to get the best meshed unit on the field but by midseason teams will be dreading having to play us.
Im excited for this series with Liberty. Ive told a few of my prostitute friends that hugh freeze may be here so they are pumped over that.

Same, I left SC a year after Holbrook was hired so getting my life together in TX and DC combined with the precipitous decline of what I grew up it made it difficult to follow baseball in the way I used to, but I'm excited about Kingston and the rebuild. I look forward to getting to know our baseball roster again.
eta: If appears we have a shadow serial downvoter.

The Holbrook years were hard for me as I knew Chad through his wife Jennifer's family. Every year I was on Chad's team for the childrens cancer research walk. So I held up hope longer than others. Chad is just too darn nice to be honest. That helps at recruiting but hurt him in coaching.
I feel Kingston is going to be highly successful here. He, like Tanner, believes in practicing and perfecting the small things. I actually think he is a Tanner clone.
I want to point out to others that you probably wont be seeing the dominant pitcher that can throw for 8 or 9 innings and will see a more " committee " approach. Some of the big league teams are moving to this approach where you will see 4 to 6 different pitchers per games. Kingston is big time into new technology training and is big on statistics, as numbers don't lie. I think we see Carolina start their rise back to the top of the nation.

4pm Carmen on the mound. Our fri and sat night starters both have big league arms. Both throw 95 and higher.

Up 1 in the 9th, give up HR to a freshman, lose lead on wild pitch, right?

So when is our closer gonna quit baseball to become an Uber driver?

Yep. Campbell's stat line: 0-6, 5 K's.

Liberty is a top 64 team and will be in the tourny. With alot of new faces Kingston is going to have to see what pieces go where. We lost first game last year and made the supers.

We'll be fine. Nobody melts harder than we do about stuff like this. It's why it's so difficult for other fanbases to troll us. We trash ourselves harder than any outsider possibly could.

I agree that it's baseball, single losses to teams like Liberty happen all the time. I also agree that we could just as easily be 8-1 headed into the Clemson series in a couple of weeks and the first game will long be forgotten but..

We shouldn't have lost that game last night.

I agree we shouldn't have lost but I'm also not shocked at the early season mistakes with all the new faces.
I doubt you will ever see Noah Campbell go 0-4 with 4 strikeouts ever again.
I'm glad we are playing a quality team like Liberty instead of the sisters of the poor teams that Tanner used to frontload the schedule with.
