I am excited about LSU's upcoming early season matchup against UCLA in the Rose Bowl. Has any other SEC school played an early season OOC game against the Bruins in the Pasadena? If so, how did it go?

Do you mean mighty 3 win UCLA? I give them credit, the year before, they actually won 4. But then the year before that they won only 3. But the year before that they actually won 6. But then the year before that they won 4.
The troops have to be biting the bit to get to Cali for that one.

Hopefully the Governor of California will actually let LSU enter California when it’s time.

We played them way back in 2011, but we also played Bama there in 09, USC there in 05, and Michigan there in 04. If you've never been to the Rose Bowl it's pretty awesome. The stadium is sitting pretty much on a golf course in the hills. Great views. If you are taking the fam hit up Disneyland or something of the sort too. Pasadena is pretty far out from LA proper, and traffic is horrendous. Save room for the commute. If you are just there for the game, stay close to the stadium and avoid the headache of getting around.

This was 2019 when OU went to LA, there were almost as many OU fans as UCLA. OU won 48-14.

2 things I remember
- its surprisingly hot in Pasadena, if you think you're going to LA to get out of the heat forget that
-locals could not believe the OU crowds, bartenders were taking pictures of the packed bar before the game

Don’t want to talk about it.

If you’ve never been to the rose bowl - it really is a site to behold. Unfortunately, UCLA home games don’t bring out the same magic as the bowl game does, and LSU will likely outnumber the home fans, similar to OU in 2019 and Texas in 2011, and USC every other year
Still, it’s an awesome venue that definitely deserves to be crossed off the bucket list of every college football fanatic.

I seem to remember this pic when someone mentions UCLA and OOC games.
