No matter how big of a dumpster fire Auburn appears to be at times, it's nothing compared to the constant tsunami of dumpster fires that is Tennessee.

One of the women in UT's recruiting department was fired with cause. She is an AU grad and was on Gus's staff for 3 years as a recruiting coordinator.

That’s why I was nervous when we fired Gus. You can always do worse when switch coaches and can get in a death spiral like Tennessee.
I think we got the right guy with Harsin for the record though.

They just fired their Head Football Coach over 'multiple NCAA level 1 and 2 infractions', and their Athletic Director "retired" simultaneously. In the press conference, the head coach was held responsible for violations committed by staff members who report to him, but the AD, who all of these people ultimately report to, was praised

When asked if there were any positives from the head coach's tenure at the school, the AD mentioned an improvement in recruiting as one of the positives
