Is the difference between a true blue blood and a program that is just happy to win it all every once and a while. Complacency. Ed Orgeron got complacent, rested on his laurels, and is now reaping what he had sewn throughout the off season. If you want to compete for national championships year and year out, you need to keep working and keep moving forward. While Ed Orgeron sat around polishing his Coach of the Year awards, Saban was out there busting his arse trying to get better.

Its one thing to get to the top, its another thing to stay there. Learning the hard way this season.

It depends on the words you're looking at while the audio plays.

You hear "brainstorm" or "LSU is trash"

You will get no argument from me. But who besides Nick, and then Dabo can do this? Spurrier burnt out. Myer burnt out. Belichick in the pros is like this. Orgeron brought us a Natty, that may be all he’s got. Maybe, maybe not.

LSU is impressive in that it is the kind of place that can foster multiple Natties from various coaches who peek there. But there is no other Saban, and Dabo is a great fit for Clemson/ACC aka “easy street” to playoffs with a dominant program.

This is not your normal season though. No Spring or regular practice/off-season workouts.

LSU is gonna be very good next year though with all the experience their young guys are getting.

Yall should start Johnson for the rest of the year. Hes your future.

I don't think Brennan has it.

No offense, but there were none between 1958 and Nick Saban

The particulars of this season with COVID make it a little premature to dancing on LSU’s grave. This is such a fluke season I don’t know you can project much besides the fact that Saban’s legendary “Process” is awe inspiring in how consistent he has been over a decade in getting his team ready to play.

I think between all the draft losses, opt outs, and COVID that LSU’s program really didn’t have their head in the game for 2020, and have now totally checked out with that disgrace at Auburn. I have no doubt though, they will be highly competitive in 2021 with the talent on the roster
