Who’s this year LF vs Henry or Guice vs Chubb or Snell vs Williams?

Right now N Harris, Spiller, & K Harris are the only 3 averaging 100+ Rush yards a game. Roundtree (who’s been there forever it feels like) & Ealy are both in the mix too.

TD wise Harris is lapping the field with 11 already (damn!).

With as important as targets are for backs it enters Hill & Ainias Smith both lead the way with 200+ Yards.

Here how the #s stack up - ranked by yard per game, min 90.
1. Najee Harris (Bama) 586 yards (499 rush/86 rec), 11TDs
2. Kevin Harris (U of SC) 495 yards (409/86), 7 TDs
3. Isiah Spiller (A&M) 467 yards (430/37), 4 TDs
4. Jerrion Ealy (Ole Ms) 432 yards (355/77), 5 TDs
5. Eric Gray (Tenn) 416 yards (298/118), 3 TDs
6. Kylin Hill (Ms State) 295 yards (58/237), 1 TD
7. Tank Bigsly (Auburn) 387 yards (303/84), 1 TD
8. Ainias Smith (A&M) 378 yards (155/223), 4 TDs
9. Larry Roundtree (Mizzou) 271 yards (270/1), 1 TD

Its really strange seeing no one from Georgia or Lsu on the list.

It's just Najee and everyone else this year. Lots of promising young backs have popped up though.

We are truly going with an RB by committee approach. Hoping Freshman Kendall Milton will be starting by the end of the year, because he seems like our best back.

If he keeps this pace up for 13 games (10, SECC, & 2 playoff games), he’ll hit 1900 yards and 36 TDs. That’s filthy.

K Harris, Spillers, & Ealy could all hit 1000 yards in a shortened season. That’s pretty damn impressive.

Considering Bigsby only had 14 carries in first two games, I see him moving up the charts quickly. But unless he scores on a long run Gus is going to screw him over on TDs

Boyd getting hurt early in the season set us back. He's a bit iffy in the new system to be honest, Boyd just doesn't look as comfortable as Smith does. Part of that might be that he isn't up to game speed yet. We shall see.

Treylon Smith, on the other hand, while he has not set the world on fire, has been a very solid utility back for us. Runs OK, blocks well, catches the ball well.

Do not get me wrong, Franks and Burks are engine that make the Arkansas offense go. But Smith has been the consistent and dependable piece of the offensive puzzle that keeps drives moving forward.

He was a forgotten man at Arizona State but he's playing himself into having an outside shot at the NFL because Smith has managed to do what he is supposed to do when he is supposed to do it.

Speaking of 1-2 punches A&M has Spiller & Smith on the top list. 2 very different backs for Jimbo to use. Plus true freshman Achane finally got a couple touches. He’s one of the fastest backs in all of football.

Two things for LSU:
1. Were throwing it far more often
2. We’ve been rotating RBs on every series

Yeah.... because the o-line blocks better for the best RB vs the oldest RB

No, internet smart guy, the best back puts you in a position to gain yards if the blocking isn't great.

Also, Emery is average 6.9 YPC and everyone else is 3.9 or lower.
