And skull fricked the 5 better defenses above them they faced in the SEC, and the 6 they faced nationally.
Doesn’t matter. Trophy!!!

using YPG to determine a good defense, you and that capston guy are truly broken, I feel for your families, I’m sure y’all are a joy to be around. Poor souls
Also, take advice from ur fellow bama fan:

But the difference between the #9 defense and the #3 defense is just 28 ypg.

This is the most pathetic post I may have ever seen on here, and this includes posts by Daniel.

Bama, tell me more about your great defense. I’ll hang up and listen

They must have spent those embezzled funds on offense.

Our D slept walked through the season until it mattered

actually, Alabama's defense was also shitty. Only marginally better than LSU. It was a weak conference overall this past year

Been there. Done that. That’s WTF is wrong
It's amazing, that in your delusion, how you can't see how absolutely pathetic this all is when it's so plainly obvious to everyone else.

Yea, I'm sure they are crushed by this John
judging by the fact it's been the most active thread since I posted it, and nearly all LSU fans, it hit a nerve. They are trying to promote the silly agenda of GOAT, but when your defense is in the lower half of the conference, it's ridiculous.
A counter example is 1992 Alabama. They had the greatest defense in the nation that year, and one of the best ever, and though the defense was good enough to win every game, the offense sucked, so it would have been silly to call that team the greatest ever. Likewise, this year LSU's offense was the best in the nation but the defense was, at best, average. Not a complete team.

The pathetic is dripping off of you.

. To be fair though— even in the 2 LSU games you brought up from this year and of course the rest of the 2019 season, LSU NEVER allowed the opposing team to have the ball in the fourth quarter with a chance to take the lead. Look it up if you don’t believe me
Which means that not only did LSU never lose a game, they were never even in danger of losing a game, all year.

Damn. We will never win a game with that defense.

If you can’t see the gains the defense made over the course of the season, I don’t know what to tell you. When LSU walked into that Super Dome, it was with a championship caliber defense. When Clemson had us pinned back inside our own five, the defense stepped up and kept us in striking distance until the offense could get going.
ETA: The defense had to deal with injuries from game 1 with multiple starters. They had to acclimate to a new offense that was a raging Ferrari. And shutting out opponents is so much harder to do now. Offenses are simply much more complex and capable than they used to be.

Out of all the teams still playing this past Monday LSU seemed to have the #1 D.
It's a shame that the ship has sailed on Dabo -> Alabama. He could have taken your pity party to heights undreamed.
