Bama fans, an honest question...

As a fan that witnessed your team’s greatest season, where do you go from here?
This is the best it will get. I can’t imagine how a single season like this can be topped.
Further, Last night exorcised the demon of 2011’s missed opportunity of being the best resume ever, at that time.
It also has me completely over what could have been with Saban.
I can say thank you to coach Saban for awakening LSU. It’s cathartic, if that’s the right word.
I am figuring y’all’s 2009 was kinda like this one for LSU. Not trolling here. In 2010, y’all lost 3 games, I think. Personally, meh. If LSU loses 3 next year, I’ll still be smiling.
Was it like that for y’all?

I suppose you hope your program can chase that season in the hopes of replicating that level of success.
Even if you never quite get there again, you'll see plenty of success in the process.

Uhhh. You think I should have asked another group of fans the questions I did? Not sure they would be qualified to answer...

If you are a Bama fan, you get to see your team win 4 more titles. Not sure about LSU.

It's taken you this long to get over Saban leaving and then going to Alabama? Congrats...I guess.

where do you go from here?

This is the best it will get.

Yes. It did. ??????? I was in school at LSU and lived in Baton Rouge to witness the transformation first hand from before until 2005. Dude did great work for LSU in many ways. Best of all, showing it was possible here.

All other shitty responses aside, you enjoy the F out of it today. As every day goes by, the feeling diminishes a bit more until the next season starts and then you CRAVE a repeat.
If you don't repeat next season, you sleep well knowing you won 1 the year before, however, as the seasons roll by you begin craving another championship even more.
That being said, I fully expect Bama to win it all next year, so go ahead and enjoy today!

Not really. We were all pissed as shite at the 2010 season. Then won a couple more NCs. Then we were pissed as shite at the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Then won a couple more NCs. Then we were pissed as shite at the 2019 season.
Alabama fans probably aren't the best to ask about this though.

You hope the run continues ala 2009 and doesn't come to a crawl like 1992.

Hopefully they see last nights game as point of motivation and work to get back to what Alabama calls Alabama football.
Alabama has been soft for a couple of years. This season and last season proved that. Had we played a different opponent, other than Georgia in 2018, we probably wouldn't have won that game.

It’s hard to match the first one you witness. So, I’m always partial to 2003, but last night’s was just on another level. No controversies. No losses. Disappointments washed away. Heisman winner. Etc etc.
I love you all!!!!!

Just a reminder that two loss seasons don’t all end up being disappointing, especially if both losses are in triple overtime.
