I hate it for Tua. Good luck to him with whatever he does going forward.

Great kid. Great football player. By far the best QB Nick Saban has ever had on the college level. The only thing holding him back is him being extremely injury prone.

It’s such a shame, or really just shocking, he will never win a Heisman nor a National Championship as a starter for Alabama. Lesser players have accomplished that and I fully expected him to as well...at some point.

If I’m him, I take my chance in the NFL. Someone will take him, we just don’t know where right now. I don’t see any way he comes back to Alabama and risks any further injury. It might even help him now that an awful, rebuilding team doesn’t snatch him up early. He could settle for a team that is on the cusp of competing, instead of someone like the Bengals or Dolphins.

All in all, good luck to the young man.

After all the preliminary speculation from literally everyone in CFB, if the newest reports are accurate, I think he’ll actually recover well. He’s a baller. I hope his injury probe nature doesn’t hurt his NFL stock. I’d enjoy watching him at the next level.

Well, he did win a National Championship. Technically didnt start but he won that game for us and 2nd and 26 happened. Then he went 14-1 the next year, winning the SEC Championship and the Orange Bowl.

And thus far led us to a 10-1 start to this season.

So not a shabby career at Bama!

The whole situation is awful.

Hate it for the young man and his family.

Hopefully he has a long and successful NFL career.

Alabama never deserved Tua. I hope the kid is drafted high and enjoys a long healthy career.

The first thing that popped in my head when I learned it is a dislocated hip is Bo Jackson. Hip dislocations can end careers and become a permanent disability.

Didn't that Moseley kid at Alabama have a hip dislocation for 1/9/11? I think Jefferson tackled him awkwardly after throwing away the NC.

You know the world is upside down when numbnuts like Jacob Coker wins a title and Tua gets slammed down like a rag doll vs MSU. No justice in this world
