Assuming McMillon was playing Will, the second Team Will seems to be Markhail Benton, but it's possible Lee could actually be the best backup at both ILB spots and slide over from 2nd Team Mike. However, looking at them physically, I'd assume Benton has more fluid hips and would have better Cover Skills. I suppose Moody also has a shot, but I think he's 3rd team with Kaho.

We are proper fricked if Moses gets a knock this year

Well, I hear ya, but we do have the most talented roster in all of CFB and have some good options on the depth chart to coach up. It's not like we've got the ILB depth chart of Rutgers.

Lee and Benton have the goods but, between the ears is what counts at ILB. I think we will be fine as now we know who needs all of the attention.

Having a veteran Mike can really help out a Talented but green Will.

This really sucks. Everyone always assumes Alabama just has another guy to plug in and be fine, but it's still an 85 scholly limit which pretty much means once you lose someone for the season you are basically one more injury away at the same position from being fricked.

Two major contributors out for the season less than two weeks into fall camp. Hope that is it.

McMillon? Yep.

Sanders, i.e. the 4th or 5th String RB? Nope.

I make a request to sit D.Moses & T.Lewis on preseason scrimmages. Just to valuable to possibly lose before Aug 31.
I'm sure I'll have lots of naysayers. Just an opinion.

Saban has already said they would probably limit Lewis during preseason. I doubt they keep either totally out, but they will likely be on a pitch count. McMillon will hurt because of his knowledge of the defense.

Outside of knee injury, have we got a specific diagnosis on his injury? And how likely is a medical redshirt in his case? I know he has a conventional redshirt season, but the ncaa ain't what it was when I was competing 2 decades ago.

12.8.1.5.1 Waiver Criteria. A waiver of the five-year period of eligibility is designed to provide a student-athlete with the opportunity to participate in four seasons of intercollegiate competition within a five-year period. This waiver may be granted, based upon objective evidence, for reasons that are beyond the control of the student-athlete or the institution, which deprive the student-athlete of the opportunity to participate for more than one season in his or her sport within the five-year period. The Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement reserves the right to review requests that do not meet the more-than-one-year criteria...
