I just had eye surgery and can't see anything. Could someone tell me who's in first place in the SEC West? Write it in capital letters so I can see and TIA!

I actually agree. The West is killer, but I'm not sure we have a team capable of winning it all. Stanford and UCLA both look scary.

Skip Bertman became the LSU AD and let Saban walk away to the Dolphins without putting up any resistance or a fight to keep him. Bertman got cheap and didn't value what he had there. He snoozed and LSU loozed. (Still haven't fully recovered in football)

Not many surprises in the West. We thought it would be a dog fight until the end of the season and it certainly looks like its heading that way.
LSU stumbled a bit to open the season but, like most on here predicated, they are right in the thick of things coming down the home stretch. Except for Alabama (who has a decent team but just doesn't have the firepower) everyone in the West could easily win the division.
There are some surprises in the East though. I did not think Georgia would be as good as they have been this year. The BaseVols have a good team that could make some noise in the post season.
On the flip side Florida isn't as good as I expected while South Carolina has had a disastrous season by their standards. At least the Cocks have put the boots to the ACC this year by going 4-1 against them and taking the series from arch rival Clemson.

LSU really needs a sweep. It can't afford another brain-fart, losing-two-of-three series like the trip to Missouri.
I suspect LSU is good enough to host a regional and maybe not good enough to advance past it.
