SEC Women's Basketball: State picked to repeat as champs

Texas A&M's best player transferred to State as a grad transfer. Not sure anyone in the country can match MSU's front court with both Howard and McCowan.
McCowan is preseason SEC Player of the Year, coming off a National Defensive Player of the Year campaign. State went 30-0 in the regular season, winning every game by double figures, but couldn't win the natty despite having a 15 point first half lead in the title game. State just can't win a national championship in anything.
Schedule is tough for MSU - at Virginia, at Texas, at Oregon and at Washington all in the non-conference. Wish we could have gotten one of those at home. Also have to play South Carolina home and home. Damn SEC scheduling.

3. Tennessee
4. Georgia
5. Missouri

7. Kentucky
8. Auburn
9. LSU
10. Alabama
11. Arkansas
12. Florida
13. Vanderbilt

Too early for this thread... but I'm shocked, shocked I say, that a team went undefeated in the regular season last year is picked to win the conference this year. Truly a surprising choice I think we can all agree. Yes, that was a wee bit of sarcasm.
Its probably a match race between MSU and USC with the Lady Vols trying to bring themselves to fire Holly Warlick and sever the last ties to the great days of Pat Summitt.
