He is the best player in the league, but I think it would be tough for him to win if UGA finishes tied for 10th.
Team success is weighted in to the KenPom formula, which is why Williams overtook him this week.

The fact that this UGA team would finish t10 should lock it up for Maten
UGA sans Maten doesn't even deserve to step on a SEC court

I couldn't argue with Maten winning it. Hell, Williams even said after his 37 and 7 game the other day, "Yante Maten would have had 37 and 17 tonight."
