What is objectively the best chicken joint ever, and why is it Chik-Fil-A?

Biggest/Most popular doesn't = the best.

The fact that you ate a cobb salad at a fried chicken joint serves you right.

Chick-fil-a must be doing something right.

There are only 3 states where there are no restaurants.

There are more Chick-fil-a restaurants than there are McDonalds in the US.

They are closed one day a week and have the highest revenue of any fast food restaurant.

KFC is not even real chicken any more...fricking gross!!!

Popeyes was founded in Arabi, LA. Though it's headquarters is in Georgia, it is bullshite to say it is SEC East.

In a weird unrelated note, I went to undergrad where Cane's was founded and grad school at Georgia Southern where Zaxby's was founded.

Triplet’s blue Store, Delpit’s Chicken Shack, Willie Mae’s, the Stockyard Cafe, and Leader’s fried chicken are all in SEC West, and Popeye’s was founded in NOLA.

I’ve posted this before, but still believe that Fat Albert’s in Lafayette, LA is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Guess the crown goes to the Sun Belt

If you could combine Guthrie's sauce with Zaxby's chicken and toast, you'd have a winner.

It's the same sauce

Exactly the same

A buddy of mine trained Zack at the Guthrie's in Athens for 2 weeks

Zack quit and got investors to help him open his new restaurant

Guthrie's implemented a "non compete/confidentiality" agreement requirement shortly after
