If this comes down to a single point I may not make it through the game and if I see a single miracle play early I will flip my shite.

I'm watching this game with my grandmother, well and the rest of the family.

I guess the silver lining of her dementia is that she may not remember the profanity laden tirade that will surely erupt from lips should the Fambly pull off another miracle.

Not much of a drinker...only on occasion. I think Saturday qualifies.
I will be hanging with Sam Adams for a bit.

Hey golfntiger32 - you realize about half of those posts you quotes were sarcastic, right?

Who the fvck would seriously claim Alabama is good at kicking field goals and Auburn isn't?

What model do you use? Or is this just your thoughts?

How did you arrive at the scores? Just an average what their respective scores this season?

Prepare thyself Xen and have the booze ready. For whatever reason this game never goes completely smooth.

Compare Rush/Pass YPA to opponents averages for the year to get an average of how each team performs against opponents averages. Do that for Rush/Pass and both on defense. Compare offense and defense, average, calculate each teams yards per point and yards per point against. Figure out average number of plays and breakout run/pass.

Then it all pops out.

It's nothing proprietary, really, though I just kind of came up with it. It generally pops out a very similar score to Vegas/S&P. However, it gives a pretty good idea of areas where one team might do something we don't expect (State rushing the ball for decent YPA for one).

I might as well go ahead and start planning my funeral, because I won’t survive a game that is that close.

@George ... Have you run it against common opponents only (the West + Mercer) to see what the result is?

Not so fun fact: UA is 1 for 6 in 1-pt games vs. The Barn.

Fun fact: Auburn's most consistent tradition is being #2 in the state, and that is not changing today.
