They have already booked November 8. With LSU losing this weekend, looks like Auburn-Texas A&M may be a lock.

We may be jizz jar filling, milkman loving sheep frickers, but even we wouldn't go to bed with swine.

Yeah, Alabama-LSU and Auburn-Texas A&M will be the games.

Gotcha.
Unless LSU has three losses, that game will be at night.
So basically, LSU needs to beat Florida and Ole Miss.

If LSU still only has 1 loss, they might keep it at the CBS primetime game - but keep in mind - what we as fans think makes the most sense - networks are going to go with whatever gets them more ad $$$. So even if LSU has 2 losses they might keep it there.
And it makes the most sense - to me it would be to have Aggies and Auburn at that time slot.

Alabama-LSU is still a staple for the season. I doubt LSU tanks so badly that they are struggling for bowl eligibility at that point. It'll be easy to sell that LSU has a chance to upset Alabama, which means most college football fans will tune in to see a hard hitting game.
Auburn-Texas A&M only gets the primetime spot if both are undefeated OR if one has one loss and still appears to potentially have a shot at the playoff.

God, I hope Verne and Gary call the Bama-LSU game. I don't think I've ever seen one they didn't call.

Going back to 2006 (because that's all I remember), LSU has been in the CBS primetime slot all but once (UF / Alabama '10).

Ah, yes. As I recall, the next year Bama v Florida was also the primetime game, and then CBS pulled some deal with ESPN to land GOTC.

I would think that an undefeated Auburn and aTm game would take the primetime slot. There will be a lot of offense in that game. LSU and Bama will be less offense and more defense because it is usually a close game with both coaches more or less running the ball and trying not to make mistakes to lose it.
