I'm just glad that Saban decided to pass on signing Drew Brees.
Me too. If he started feeling like he liked the NFL, there is no telling who we'd have coaching for us at this point. I think it all worked out quite well for everyone involved.

You link a story to an Auburn player about an Alabama coach?
You fricks ARE as stupid as the Arkansas fans say you are.
Heath Evans was a VERY high character guy when he played for the Saints. He was a huge loss when he tore his ACL & we went in another direction. Brees spoke very, VERY highly of him.
Who WOULD you accept negative information regarding your Coach from? I know after Miles was hired I hit up a Okie State Board to try to listen.
Did the same thing at a Spartans board after Saban was hired by LSU.
(The Spartan's told me that we'd ALWAYS have to deal with NFL rumors; THEY WERE RIGHT, LOL)

Yeah, I can believe that. If you're a step stone like Michigan State or LSU, coaches are always gonna be lookin' for an upgrade.
Boom?

I enjoyed talking with saban when he was at LSU never came off as a-hole during regular conversation.
I do wonder how much of story is accurate, considering the time frame of this just being reported and why hasn't a player (or player who was convulsing) come forward before.
Hell there may be more to story than we know and it may be one where in hindsight it was worse than it seemed at the time.
Could a player have been down and saban thought he was quitting and this walked over him, then people realized he was convulsing? Could there be some facts Heath is leaving out? Is his distaste for Saban clouding the events that transpired before, during, and after.

These Bama cult followers are as bad as Paterno defenders! Isn't that what Collin Cowherd was hinting at when he said Nick had too much power? Blind LUST for the midget!

May have had something to do with the Fins sucking so bad that first year.
They were 9-7 his first season. And if this happened the way Evans suggests it did, and Jason Taylor was indeed at said incident, why was Taylor defending Saban in 2007? Since, you're suggesting so much "respect" was lost, that doesn't add up.

It is not just that he ignored him either, he was the cause of James condition and trip to the ER.
How in the holy Hell do you think he caused this? It's the same off-season conditioning program he's ran everywhere he's been.

Explain why Evans said last week that he thinks Alabama deserves to play in the MNC?
