We need depth at LBer, and I see he is a guy with 72 tackles in 2022 who is entering the portal.

What's the word on this guy?

I wouldn't set the bar too high for a man named after a singer who peaked in 2003

The canned answer of the fans of the team the player is leaving can be summed up as follows: "He wasn't that good and is only transferring because he knows he's about to lose his spot to the new guys."

Lache Sistrunk or something like that. Was a RB that never really planned out.

Everyone knows that all departing transfers are third stringers who got passed up by everyone else and all incoming transfers are the final piece to a championship team.

Any of our LBs from last year who is not named Troy Brown should go down a level.

Looks like y’all are gonna get Speights. Don’t be greedy. We really need a LBer or two.

He really turned it on middle of the year, not a bad LB, probably more of a back up role. We were terrible at LB, so I doubt we told him you better look elsewhere.

Nice depth pickup.

There have been some good Sistrunks and Cistrunks to play football.

Otis Sistrunk is one nfler that comes to mind.

Ashanti is a chick’s name. I thought you were going to be asking about a women’s basketball player

Lache Seastrunk

C/o 2010, was one of the top 3 RB recruits along with Michael Dyer and Marcus Lattimore. Auburn was actually very close to signing all 3. Seastrunk signed with Oregon, but gave an interview leading up to the BCSNCG that year saying how he wished he was at Auburn. We apparently backed off after he didn’t get along with other recruits at our Big Cat Weekend, showing major ego/ attitude problems. Then going into signing day it looked like Marcus Lattimore was going to sign with Auburn, until Stephen Davis (Auburn alumni but South Carolina native) gave him advice backstage to sign with the Gamecocks, bc even if something happened to his football career, he would always be the hometown hero if he stayed in South Carolina. That ended up being sage advice, considering.
