AUs PTB wanted Freeze two years ago, then had him as a plan if Harsin was fired in January due to an investigation. He was vetted by the school numerous times. The only real change was Kiffin stating out 7-0.

Yeah I mean that's all great and all except for the fact that because they kept leaking that all the major issues happened under Nutt he sued and his attorneys were the ones that found out about the escorts when they got Freeze's cell phone records. OM was going to stand by Freeze even though he's the one that squarely put them in the NCAA's crosshairs.

Ummm this doesn’t mean what you think it does. What I just read is the entire OM administration and compliance department decided to cover everything up? Freeze can’t decide what the compliance department does or doesn’t disclose.
Freeze wasn’t the president, AD, or head of compliance for Ole Miss and he was likely contractually bound not to disparage OM or make any public statements or disclosures about ongoing investigations. He was gone anyways… why would he care?

Sexton has a lot bigger clients than Lane. Wouldn’t be shocked if Lane didn’t get punked by Saban. Especially Saban finding out lane wanted to go to Auburn. Lane didn’t look happy discussing it.
