Outside of football. A&M light years ahead of LSU.
LSU has the second most CWS titles ever. A&M has never played in a CWS final

LSU has been to several final fours in basketball, most recently in 2006. A&M has never made it past the sweet 16

LSU is currently known around the nation for having one of the best atmospheres you can ask for on a fall Saturday night.

A&M is currently known around the nation for setting money on fire, worshipping male cheerleaders at Friday night pep rallies, and having the biggest inferiority complex to Texas and LSU known to man.

Outside of football, A&M is an even bigger joke when compared to LSU than you thought... YIKES

I have nothing but respect for Kelly and his balls of steel with the call to go for 2.

Sometimes you just get beat.

Texas is a great University.

Too bad the campus sucks arse. Hobos and the traffic sucks dick.

Also UT rejects? Did you forget about Texas law? When I was applying for colleges I got auto accepted to every public school, by virtue of being in the top ten percent. It’s probably at like 6 now.

Got into Mccombs but I preferred Mays. A&M was less ghetto. Yeah Austin is nice but you spend 90 percent of your time on campus and that wasn’t for me

Not only is this false, but you're going to try to convince us that you got into both schools, and you CHOSE to spend it at farmersonly.com to receive an inferior education while worshiping sheep and male cheerleaders rather than attend a university widely known as the flagship school of the state, constantly ranked ahead of the school you allegedly chose, and widely considered your big brother across all athletic events?
Yea... sure thing, sport. We TOOOOOOOOOOTALLY believe you

This guy knows the little success they had in the SEC is about to taken away by Texas in a big way. They would be better off in the American conference. Probably a better fit for them anyway.

Just looked it up, after 6 years on the job aggies avg. 51K.
LSU grads start at 56K. did not see data for after 6 years.

I think these numbers are wrong.

But regardless, this is a pet peeve of mine.

Average pay comparison between schools in different states is a generally useless comparison.

Your school really only matters for your first real job. And for entry level positions, pay is dictated almost entirely by the prevailing COL in the market where the job is filled.

What (public) SEC schools always lead starting pay among grads? UF, UGA, and A&M. Why? Becuase the schools primarily feed employers in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, where COL and payscales are higher than other southeastern states.

Vandy is always first, in large part because a significant portion of their grads take entry level jobs in the northeast, west coast, and Chicago, where COL and pay are much higher than the south.

People love to crow about it when their school is high up the list, but the reality is it's mostly just a quirk of geography.
