I have always admired Gene Stallings. I think he is a very good man.

Saban likely wouldn’t win one at A&M either. Bama and LSU have won with other coaches… 4 A&M coaches have won one…elsewhere

Damnit. Now I gotta defense the Ranch Davidians.

Soooo.....

Saban could win anywhere where there's quality talent within 8 hours drive, resources to give him what he needs, and stay the frick out of his way.

LSU was always a sleeping giant. Kinda like Florida before Spurrier. And in reality, y'all were basically Ole Miss. frick it, y'all were Ole Miss.

Pre-Saban, LSU had 7 SEC championships, Ole Miss has 6. Since 1960 to Saban, LSU had 4 SEC Championships, Ole Miss has 3. LSU had 1 National Championship since 1955 (1958), Ole Miss had 5 (1954, 1955, 1960, 1962, 1963).

Y'all have had a great 21st Century. But let's not pretend like you did shite in the 20th century. Y'all were Ole Miss with warm tailgate food.

He had to go where he could cheat and get away with it.

The Bear himself couldn’t win a Nc at A&M

What a pathetic attempt at trolling. He was at A&M (when it was still a small all male military school) for all of 4 years before Bama called him home.

He went 1-9, 7-2-1, 9-0-1, and 8-3. His first season was the Junction Boys year which he himself said was a mistake b/c he drove off so many players that it gave away the year. His last season they were 8-0 and ranked #1 but some fricker leaked to the Houston media he was leaving for Bama at the end of the year and they didn’t win again after that losing to Rice (still a power at the time) 6-7, texas 7-9, and Tennessee 0-3.

You’re incredible stupidity on full display. A&M was a military school when Bear Bryant coached. Same for the first couple of years Stallings was there. Make no mistake, Bebes is an Aggie through end through. Aggie football player, former student and a Regent on the board of TAMU.
