I get the feeling he's not coming here, but there's a good chance he does. I'm kinda torn on him. I lived in NOLA for 3 years and went to Newman games. Their region play is terrible. The teams were very small private school. I've seen him play a few times and came away unimpressed. That said: I know his uncles played against the same competition and we all know what they accomplished. And, we know he will get great training outside UGA as well. But, is he as good as the two we have now in front of him? Would the Mannings pressure Kirby to play Arch early? I think the main reason I would want him would be the talent that he would bring with him. Other than that, I think we would be fins without him and the distraction.

Arch by default has had the best QB training imaginable. Imagine having 2-3 HOF qbs to mentor you. 4 Superbowl rings for worth of knowledge.

Generally, the problem with qbs is 90% of hs coaches cant coach a qb for shite.

If he comes, i welcome him with open arms. Maybe looking at Texas and Ole miss he has decided that UGA is the most likely place to win a NC as he appears cold on bama.

If this is what they want, he won't come to UGA.

I don't believe that 5* rating. I have doubts about Arch. He already has dark bags under his eyes. The kid is gonna be under a ton of pressure. The last name is a blessing and a curse. I hope he goes to Texas.

I think he’ll go to Ole Miss and , factoring in the family legacy and what comes with that for life there, he’d be stupid not to. I also think Kiffen already knows he’s coming to ole Miss

That being said, Id be excited if he picked Georgia. For all the obvious reasons, but also to watch all the heads explode of those that think managing QBs is Kirby’s biggest weakness. And the weekly drama of people freaking out about every little thing would be fun

I’m by no means advocating for a full court press to get Arch but… their last name has a pretty solid track record

The biggest thing with Arch is how famous he is. That’s both good and bad. A lot of top players would sign up to play with him, but it could also lead to politics issues with playing time when he got on campus.

I'd gladly take him, but if you put a gun to my head and made me choose one, I'd rather have Dylan Raiola out of the '24 class over Arch.

Don’t want him. The expectations for him is extremely high because of his family. Kid already has the celebrity mentality and will get burned out hard wherever he plays.

Manning is likely destined to be a good pro QB but to be honest for our team and college football in general, I would rather have a dual-threat QB.
Bennett is a prime example of how an athletic QB can be extremely successful even with obvious limitations in stature and arm strength.

I don’t care if we get him or not, really. That 2024 Dylan Raiola kid is legit af. He’s a year younger and his film looks lights out better than Mannings already.

I’m good with BVG and Stockton competing for the job in 23 & 24, and then Raiola being the guy after that, and us not having to deal with the Manning hype.

Can you imagine if Manning comes and Kirby doesn’t think he’s beat out BVG or Stockton? It’s a potential headache I’d rather avoid, to be honest.

Didn't arch stink it up in more than a few games? If so, then he's famous on name alone

I'm fine going with Brock and Gunner in the future. Both of those guys have dual threat ability. Someone else pointed out who Stetson used his running to help us in the national title hunt. It just seems to be adding more qb drama. We've already had so much with all Eason, Fields, and JT. If Kirby isn't starting Arch he probably gets a dozen phone calls from Archie, Elie, and Peyton.
