Blueprint:
Stop Georgia offense
Score more on Georgia's defense than you allow to Georgia

Combine Ole Miss Offense and Clemson Defense…that might work.

Those who are still trying to discredit what Georgia has done through the last 12 games point to the lack of an opponent with an "elite offense," which is hard to find year in and year out. With that being said, as ESPN pointed out in their article, "the conventional wisdom was that an offensive juggernaut would go toe-to-toe with Georgia's overwhelming defense,"
Of course there’s a blueprint to beat UGA.
There just aren’t any teams capable of implementing it.
Alabama is not an offensive juggernaut, nor are really any of teams projected in the playoff (at least not enough of a juggernaut against UGA’s D).

Alabama is # 7 in the country in total offense. They have the Heisman favorite at QB.
What is the best QB UGA has faced all year? UT QB Hooker?
Bama shut down the #5 Offense and Matt Corral holding them to less than 300 total yards.

I've got the best one:
Score more points.

How do Georgia fans feel about the comparisons to Saban’s early Bama teams? Stop the run and make the game manager QB beat you on defense, and on offense, sling it around and hope you hit enough big plays to outscore them? Obviously an oversimplification, but I’ve been curious about the opposing perspective from UGA’s side.

Not this year’s Bama…awful defense.

And we beat everyone by 30+ points. What's your point ?
Going into the 4th qtr with 0 points against Auburn is not an offensive juggernaut.

It’s a matter of consistency (more so on offense, less so on defense).
Alabama’s rushing offense is also mediocre. The offense has looked great at times, and miserable at times.
Alabama made timely early plays on defense against Ole Miss to build a huge lead. Alabama couldn’t shut down Arkansas, who is right there with UGA in total offense.
UGA also dominated the four common opponents that either gave Alabama a push or came very close to beating Alabama. This group doesn’t even include the LSU or A&M games.
Sometimes they look like Ole Miss on offense and Clemson on defense, but not often enough to be deemed that kind of team.

I don’t think you will find a Bama fan that will argue against that.

The offensive line leaves a lot to be desired on the right side and we’ve lost McClendon, Wheaton, and Williams to injury. Robinson is now also dealing with a leg injury, so to be mediocre at this point is somewhat of a miracle in itself.

I think the hope is that UGA hasn’t really played anyone that matched what they do on offense as well as Alabama’s defense. Bama has been surprisingly good against the run and average in pass D this year. So while Georgia faired better against common opponents, I don’t think those opponents have the ability to replicate what Alabama is capable of if they play an efficient game.

You are irrationally invested in Georgia losing on Saturday, to be a self-professed Vandy fan.

Send out the 2019 LSU team or the 2020 Bama team. It would be a heck of a game.
Gotta have a complete, balanced OFF with athletes to attack them, drive the ball downfield, and set the pace of play. On DEF, stop the run, pressure the qb, and have the athletes to match up with them in the passing game.
With that said the 2021 Bama teams has some holes on the OL and at RB (injuries). Don't see it happening, nor do I see any of the potential CFP teams beating them either.

Blueprint: Hit Metchie and Williams with room to run and hope they break it for touchdowns.
That’s Bama’s only hope. They get into a grinder with Georgia, they’ll lose by two touchdowns.

Any reasonable Dawg fan will tell you that we're concerned about the vertical passing game. Downfield threats are the one thing that's had us hoping we could get better about defending as the season progressed. USCjr did a little bit of that early in the game, and Tennessee did the same.
Now, it's also important to note that a lot of bomb plays cannot develop in under 3 seconds when the line play starts to collapse the pocket around the opposing QB and/or he begins to feel the pressure/pursuit.

That article sucks and I feel ashamed having clicked it.
So yall don't have to click, the point of it is that UGA's offense struggled against Clemson's defense in game 1, therefore UGA's offense sucks and Bama can shut it down easily.
You're welcome.

Wait. You think Alabama's offense is as good as Ole Miss' offense and their defense is as good as Clemson's defense?

Their defense isn't awful. It's not as strong as it has been in the past. last year it wasn't, either, but they had a great offense.
This year their offense is good, but not great, and their defense is good, but not great.
I think Alabama fans will agree with my assessment.
