Bo Nix said on the CBS telecast on Saturday that he had a decision to make regarding returning to Auburn or not.
After talking with sources, Bo Nix is very much weighing a decision to return to Auburn next season. All options are on the table, including turning pro or transferring. Sources indicate among other things, the loads of criticism that got thrown Nix’s way over the last three years isn’t helping the situation on whether Nix may stay or not. The family loves Auburn, obviously, but may be ready for Nix to move on away from this situation. We shall see.
My own opinion, I can’t really blame them for being sick of the criticism. Should you leave over it? That’s their call. I’m sure weighing returning offensive roster will play a part as well in his next move. The family loves Auburn, that goes without saying, but there is a decision to make regarding next season.

I was on the anti Bo train before this year, he mad real progress this year and think a lot of my criticism should have been geared towards Gus. If Bo does leave Auburn desperately needs to go out and get a QB because Finley is not the answer.

I Don’t blame Nix. If he had a bad game I’m okay with Nix getting the criticism. Nix had a couple this season.
But Auburn fans get off on blaming every little last thing on Nix while begging for the backup.
Well they got the backup, but no Ironbowl win.

The only game Auburn lost where Nix shared a good bit of the blame was Texas A&M

The whole team played bad against Georgia State. Including Nix.

If you can’t take the criticism, you probably shouldn’t be a QB in the SEC.
But I have a feeling this post is BS anyway

I don’t think there is any way Bo tests the NFL waters. Surely he is smarter than that. On the other hand, I could definitely see him transferring to another P5 school if he doesn’t feel he is the clear cut starter coming out of the spring.
Another scenario is Bo comes back and starts and uses his 2020 pass and is here for two more seasons.

I can’t see an NFL team making Bo a top 100 pick right now.
He’s got potential, and it has shown up at times.
Getting a better team around him will help him.
I guess he could go to SMU and help Rhett.
He would probably help at Georgia or Clemson as well.
Criticism comes with the starting QB job anywhere.

Another reason why I don’t blame Bo is why would he want to play under another inexperienced OL? We could bring in world beaters from the portal or he could have an equal OL as the last couple years. Does he want to chance that?

If Bo transfers, we better go after Dillon Gabriel or we are fricked.
TJ Finley isn’t leading us to victory.

He'd make a great backup.

He and his dad ain't no dummy. The only way he improves his stock is to find a team with a proven OC and stout Oline that needs a QB 1. I can't think of one of the top of my head. I got a feeling like he'll stick with Bobo as long as Bobo stays. If Bobo bounces in the next few weeks I could see Nix shopping around

I'd take that trade. Idk of any team in the SEC either one wouldnt catch crap for things they do at times. Not even Vanderbilt. If he truly can't handle the pressure then everyone was right all along. But I agree with the majority. I dont see him going through all he has and leaving after he has started progressing.

I'm guessing he meant deciding whether to enter the draft or not. He's not going to float the idea of transferring. If he was referring to transferring, then he needs to transfer.
