On top of that, their best 2022-2023 offensive commits are from California

- Raleek Brown (5-star RB, #34, 2022) (Santa Ana, CA)
- Malachi Nelson (5-star QB, #2, 2023) (Los Alamitos, CA)
- Makai Lemon (5-star ATH, #22, 2023) (Los Alamitos, CA)
- DeAndre Moore (4-star WR, #41, 2023) (Los Alamitos, CA)

Holy shite what a disaster

It’s gonna be a rough one! We’ll be ok either way. I’ve been a Riley fan but I did have concerns that he had reached his ceiling. I have no idea the direction we’re about to move, but I’ll be here for it.

Yikes. Riley hasn’t told the team or recruits yet. Oklahoma in for a world of hurt.

If OU plays this one smart, y'all will have someone installed and ready to play SEC ball on day one.

Could be a blessing in disguise.

I'm with you - it'll be a rough transition but I think you guys can find somebody more balanced in the long run. Not to mention how much of a chickenshit move it is to clearly run away from depth of competition for a place where it will be easy to play 1-2 games a year and pop into the playoffs.

Like cyde said above - this really could be a blessing in disguise for you guys, because you'll be able to hire just about anybody you want to hire. Lots of good options out there who have a complete, balanced view on running a program.

I’m trying my best to look at it that way. I’m hoping for a coach that believes in physicality a bit more. Oh well, I’ll be in the stands regardless.

An underlying issue, that I believe factored into Riley’s decision is our compliance department. It’s extremely strict and can make recruiting difficult. I am well aware of our past and our transgressions, but that department is going to have to lighten up a bit.

College sports as we know it is over. Coaches will start taking players with them.

If he runs off with ANY current OU players, he can go F himself.

NIL will probably make this at least a little easier. Oklahoma will be able to sell potential recruits on the profitability of being associated with OU's brand.

Just need to have a guy on board who can keep them focused and keep them striving. The hardest part to me always seemed like it would be keeping kids on board with the idea that a million dollars isn't that much money compared to, potentially fifty million in the League.

Get ready for Riley to administer a self
applied dildo then. Very little, if any, loyalty
to your former home when these kind of
stakes are involved.
