SEC championship tickets and Bama fan prediction

Talked to a guy at the game. He said he just missed the donation cut-off but each school only gets 17k tickets. Just saw tickets drop from 600 to 425. I'm going to watch it on TV but I think it will be a majority Dawg fans. My Bama friends are all predicting UGA to beat Bama so taking that as a barometer for most Bama fans.

Each school only gets like 11k for actual donors.
If we make Indy lots of folk won’t get tics either bc of stadium size being just 64k and majority of all other teams being first time and close.

I know a few guys that will go if we go to Indy. Friend of mine has a good position with an NFL team ticket office and he gets tickets to any football game he wants with those connections. We have a lot of fans with big money and I'm sure they will also head up if we make Indy. Would much rather the NC game be in Dallas or Miami though.

you hit on a few different points...the SECCG for some reason gives a laughably low amount of tickets to each team's actual donors. Chalk it up to sponsors, Falcons/United PSLs, etc. For the playoffs game we will have way more alloted to us even in a smaller stadium. With the natty not being in Atlanta like 4 years ago, I'm guessing MOST ticket holders that apply for tickets will get them unless they have super low points. I mean we get ~40K for Jacksonville and pretty much everyone gets tickets there that applies for them.

This. I just sold two extras I bought a couple months ago and heard from several folks that are significant donors and have been for years that they didn’t make or didn’t think they’d make the cutoff based on what they knew. I’m betting I could have made a little more had I waited a bit, but I’d have had more competition, too. A bird in hand……

Playoff game, maybe. Natty? I doubt it. The vast majority were already made available on the open market, for promotional ticket packages, CFP RSVP, and for corporate sponsors, etc.

Will be one of highest price natty tickets on record.
Geographic location, teams likely to make it being new and smaller stadium size.

When it was in atlanta and pretty much every GA fan in a 4 hour radius had no qualms whatsoever about attending we had A LOT more tickets given to us by the school than we did for the SECCG a month earlier. I have to imagine that there wont' be nearly as many people traveling to indiana that would travel to atlanta.
I'm sure there are tickets already spoken for with packages and whatnot my only point is that we are going to get a shitton more tickets from UGA for the title than the 11K we're given for the SECCG.

You could be right, who knows. I guess we’ll know more in a week. I still think we’ll travel well, especially if the playoff filed looks like we think it may.

I’ve already booked my flight and hotel room for the national title game. I’ll probably go ahead and purchase a ticket on the secondary market this week. My arse will absolutely be in that stadium if we make it to the title game.

Us, too. What flight? We’ve got rooms at the Hampton Inn in Avon and a Jeep Wrangler waiting at the airport.
Find your ticket now. Don’t wait. You can always sell, but what was said earlier is likely the right answer: Gonna be one of the highest priced tickets on record.

Bama is the underdog. Think about that for a minute. How will we fare when they spread us out and are able to protect BY? I’ve watched several matchup videos and the same message appears - or secondary is terrible.

I got tickets to the game through Dr Pepper who I work for. We bring a huge crew each year minus last year because of COVID. But there’s a bunch of people that go who don’t even care about the game or teams. Mostly LSU fans but I’ve been really lucky to get the package every year. This will be my fourth time to go and hoping to bring home a win. My direct boss is a huge Bama fan and has been insufferable. I hate that tickets are so hard to come by because it is a great experience!

In those videos you watched you should've noticed that they won't be able to protect Bryce. Their ol is garbage and our dl is the best they've seen all season.

If they protect Young, who knows. But their line has been trash most of the year and he almost refuses to use his legs at all, so don’t count on him getting comfortable.

Not going to lie, this is going to be one long week. Just hope we can shut them down

Bama's OL sucks.
There's your answer.
