Well this is a good point but it would have been a nice gesture on Tanks part to just bull forward. Just a request really on my part.

When our backup is hobbling around half the game and everyone in America knew the game was going to come down to a clutch offensive play or defense pitching a great game then I think blaming the offense is little indirect to the actual problem..

Anyone talking about tank getting out of bounds is dumb. He recognized it and got dragged out.
Anyhow, we have no team without him. Pretty sure our DC gave up a 97 yard final drive with no blitzes.

But in that moment a headsy play is needed. I have to wonder at the timeout if anyone told him do not go out of bounds no matter what?
I mean you have to think about it in that situation. Is it the sole reason for that loss? Nope but it was a big mistake.

Mistake yes, but the play after it certainly didn't help matters. Might've gone for it on 4th down if they'd gotten any kind of positive gain on 3rd down, but the tackle for loss pretty much eliminated that idea...

There isn’t one play that lost the game. It was a series of plays throughout the last 2 minutes that hurt us.

The Tank out of bounds play didn't bother me at all. I think initially he thought he was going to get the first down. If he had the out of bounds wouldn't have mattered.
The play that bothered me was the 3rd and 1 play that followed it. The one thing we didn't need to happen was lose 4 yards.

My point is that everyone focused on one play. When the reality is, the entirety of the offense sucked the entire game. It wasn’t Tank going out of bounds. It was the offense.

Exactly. While I'm sure Tank wishes he could've stayed in bounds, he did set up the offense with a manageable 3rd and 1, which they proceeded to whiff on.

After Tank managed to go out of bounds Bobo probably felt pressure to run on 3rd and 1 because he didn’t want to leave Bama with a timeout too.

This hurr durr our defensive didn't get no pressure on the last drive is so dumb. We hit him at least three times that I can remember, I will Sonic anyone who says one negative thing about our defense this game. That was one of the top 3 defensive performances I have seen in nearly 30 years of watching Auburn football.
