We have a couple of weeks for everyone to get well….hopefully, there wasn’t anything too serious.

That Nolan Smith injury looked bad. I injured my shoulder in a similar way diving off a high dive. The drive snapped my shoulder back and it hurt for 2 years. But I guess these guys are young and snap back really fast.

I thought Nolan’s injury was his elbow? Hyperextended?

I read on another board that it’s nothing major. Let him rest for two weeks and sleeve him with a Gronk bionic elbow..

It would be nice if AA got a dismissal of charges. I hope he is innocent and has proof.

I think AA is in for a long ordeal, even if innocent. It’s a sad situation.

I know nothing of the legal system but I’d assume if that were the case he’d have proven it by now. I guess that situation will just have to play itself out however it does.

Put this way, AA is literally sitting in jail right now. Hasn’t even had his bond hearing yet.

Guessing Covid still has the courts slow. Until you are in the system you can’t get a bond hearing.

Imagine that young man going from playing on the biggest stage in college football to spending Saturday in lockup. Prayers for him.

Yea, sucks he had to wait so long to get a Superior judge to decide on bond (magistrate judges can’t issue bond on rape charges in Georgia)

I told y’all in a few threads, rape in the State of Georgia is one of the most severe. There are no degrees or types. It’s MINIMUM 25 years, and you don’t get out early on good behavior. It’s actually punishable by death in Georgia.

Also, even if a person consents, but you know they might be too drunk to consent, that can still be rape in Georgia.

And good luck ever getting a politician to try to soften a Rape statute.

Moral of the story: 1. Don’t commit rape and 2. better trust who you’re sleeping with and/or get record of their consent beforehand.
