As long as that "solid SEC program" knows they are Arkansas's bitch, they can say whatever they want about themselves

I’ll admit I didn’t expect Nix to look that bad, but yea I doubt I’m the first person to be wrong with a CFB pick.

I think Riley is a great offensive mind doesn't mean he's a great coach. Same with the former Texas tech coach, won't say Riley is trash but every team hopes the CFP committee matches them with the Sooners. The college football world knows if they hit Oklahoma in the mouth early they fold like a 40 dollar two piece.

I think the same could be said for everyone not named Bama or Clemson in the past. OU isn’t any different than any other top 5 team over the past 10 years. All of them have lost to Bama and Clemson teams that were head and shoulders above the rest. That’s changing tho. OU has greatly closed the talent gap and the future looks even better. Riley will win the big ones with the athletes he’s getting.

Of all the team that had made aleast 3 appearances in CFP the Sooners have yet to make to a championship game.

Oklahoma current roster and incoming class would rank 5th and 4th respectively in the SEC. Please don't think I'm an SEC snob either Oklahoma has a great program but until y'all get over the hump it is what it is.

OUs current roster is 3rd in the SEC in blue chip ratio and talent composite, the 2022 class was 3rd yesterday and 4th today in the SEC and will finish top 3 or 4. 2023 is 1st with a massive lead, which is the “sec announcement” class. So yea OU can absolutely compete and win the SEC in the future with top 5 classes, and the QB talent Riley always has.

Lol 2023. You made me look. More of the same. All offensive skill position commits And not a single defensive commit. That shite won’t fly in the sec

As an Aggie fan who has been waiting for decades for an elite football program, this thread is a lot of fun to read. I know we don't have elite results yet, but we're so close, and our overall roster talent is different than I've even seen it.

Yep. Beat me to it. That OU skill position bs only will get you 8 wins a year. You build sec teams inside out. Stout Lines on both sides a must.

They are putting together a stout program and their recruiting is starting hit that upper echelon year to year.

I know they haven't won anything, but they joined a division responsible for half the national championships this century. Only one time since they joined the SEC west it didn't have a team representing it in the National title game.

Even with Jimbo's flaws he's clearly elevated that program. Personally hope they go down in flames, but it's hard not to acknowledge they are building a solid SEC program.

Nah, we are light years behind everyone. We are just lucky. Pay no attention to the wizard behind the curtain at A&M. It’s really just your imagination.

Lot of great recruiters out there that never win anything. Jimbo and Kirby are two of the best examples. And no UGA isn’t winning the NC lol

What a retard. Clearly another OU smoking the meth pipe. Riley inherited a great program and hasn't done crap with it. An immensely overrated and unproven HC. Luckily OU plays in the Big 12. OU would easily have 4 SEC losses by now.

If Riley was the #1 Target for the NFL he would be coaching in the NFL. If you think otherwise you are a homer moron. OU is not a better job than coaching in the NFL.

All Riley has shown is he has a good offensive mind and can do a good job beating teams where he has a significant talent advantage. He still struggles mind you and loses on occasion to these teams that have no where near his level of talent but he has been winning. In the Playoffs he has done nothing except lose or lose in embarrassing fashion.

Yet you consider him to have "more talent and upside than Jimbo every could" even though Jimbo actually has won a Natty and Riley doesn't have a single win as big as Jimbo's win over Bama alone. Riley has only won one Bowl game against a disinterested UF team that Mullen even said before the game he didn't care, that's your biggest W (or the first year win against Ohio State in a down year). In fact that first year with Stoops' players is the best season Riley has had and the closest he came to winning something meaningful.

Riley is recruiting well but not at Bama/UGA levels and it's debatable if it is at A&M/LSU levels. Talking about 23 is a joke, those kids are over a year from signing day.

Sorry but your days of beating up on Baylor and TCU most of the time to think you are the big man are soon to come to an end. If you played in the SECW this year you are sitting on 4 losses.

Why do you forget our other 5-star...Haynes King? He is gonna get the starting job next year while Conner Weigman sits his true freshman year. Weigman needs time to learn the system.

Gonna be a 5-star QB battle next year regardless! Hellz yes. And Zach will hopefully stay for the 2022 season as a solid back-up.
