Culture of corruption. Their problems won't go away with Orgeron. There are active NCAA, federal investigations as well as civil lawsuits.
Our thoughts should be with the victims of that university who surely suffer and are re-traumatized by seeing them on TV every week. A death penalty with no TV should be on the table purely to not have the victims have to watch.

No the New President (Tate) who just got here this Summer from what I picked up wanted to fire him for cause. Some LSU BOS who know O think he is not going to go away quietly which means O and LSU will be in a situation similar to TENN and Pruitt. So Woody from what I got was the one to sit down an negotiate the full buyout and that is what was what O wanted and thus LSU avoids the TENN/Pruitt situation (Court gets involved).
President Tate earlier this month fired the Department head of the French Language Department who had not reported numerous Female graduate students complaining about sexual advances made by a Male Graduate Student from France. That student was sent to teach I think in the Alexandria, LA area in a French language program (French immersion is now part of curricula in many areas of LA) and that student "allegedly" attempted to rape a fellow student teacher in that area. He I think has fled the country and that is another Title IX issue that LSU is facing. While not related to football, it is another FUBAR that happened during the previous administration.
