Right. Because interim coaches never get the job so the entire staff is never motivated to coach and recruit. Oh, wait

Sometimes I wish you would be logical rather try to deflect everything. Yes assistant coaches looking to probably get jobs next year and maybe want to be head coaches in the future will intentionally damage LSU for what purpose exactly?

wondering if any of them were approached and asked if they would be willing to accept that. I'd turn it down

LSU's next head coach is 100% not on the current staff.

Absolutely no chance and I'm sure they all know that.

The "interim" would be just as much of a lame duck as O is.

Yes but he literally said he was taking time off. So step aside and let some new energy come into the locker room.

A win at home against Florida was the perfect way to end things.

A lot if it has to do with the coach who is being released. If he has a long tenure, is well-respected, etc., then - yes, let him play out the season even though everyone knows he is being canned after the last game.

But Coach O has been taking pictures of himself in bed with his significant other. He is not respected. He has single-handedly turned LSU into a whipping boy less than 2 years after having a program that was dominating college football. It takes a pretty "special" coach to pull that off.

He has given up and turned LSU into a bit of a laughing stock. Yet LSU keeps him there as the head coach. He should be gone and he still may be before the end of the season, imo.

He says a lot of things that don't turn out to be true.

No one has been able to give any logical reason on how a lame duck interim is any better for LSU than lame duck O.

Half a season of negative recruiting from their own team . Woodward is a genius.

There's not a word that comes out of that dudes mouth that I'd believe at this point. Wouldn't be surprised if he already has a deal in place

Didn’t you just say earlier that Ed said he was going to tell recruits that LasU would be a good place for them

That is a dead program walking.

I'd rather wait and get our guy......a lot of Freshman getting reps.

We'll be ok

Not much of a difference.

So explain the positives of a lame duck interim vs a lame duck O to me

If it wasn’t you it was another LSU poster. So can you trust him to tell the truth or not.

Personally I think that's BS. I'm pretty sure it's all Scott and the assistants at this point.

That's your opinion.

I don't really see a good way to do it either way.

If you think the assistant coaches are recruiting hard for LSU you are very naive.

Very doubtful.

Most of them are gone too.
