Has Tennessee ever released any information to support their allegations of “cause”. I haven’t followed the story since termination , but I recall that at the time Tennessee administration used a ton of hyperbole to describe the “severity” of the allegations, but did not provide specifics. I also recall many on this board making fun of the situation and provided a post termination count of days that had passed without any specifics being provided. What did Pruitt actually do (other than not win games).

I think one reason was the Butch scenario. There was no way Tenner was going to pay another coach big money to watch them stand on the sidelines at Bama and smoke a cigar while they got their azzes handed to them. That had to be one of the biggest embarrassments in the past decade. they deserved it however.
