If Florida loses to LSU... Does Mullen get fired first?

Getting restless down there in Florida. I honestly don't think there is a realistic scenario where Mullen gets fired this year, but how ugly would it get?

Mullen would need to completely tank before he goes although losing to LSU brings a lot of heat.

I live in FL - my observation is that while UF fans would be thrilled to win the SEC-East and SECCG, as long as they are better than FSU & Miami (a very low bar right now), Mullen is safe. In fact, if UF wins 9-10 games most years and 11-12 occasionally, with a playoff appearance every 5-10 years, he is set for life. Different culture.

That’s not the case, at all. Not sure who you’re talking to, but no one I know is satisfied with that kind of record annually.

I don't see why not...Florida was used to and HAPPY to win 8-9 games a season as the Gators never won more than 9 games a year for almost 100 years (not until 1991)!
